Past Vs. Present

After our last round of screaming at each other Mia decided to mention that fuckers name again. Before we left the hotel, I knew why she started to answer all of Rosie's questions, she just wanted to get even with me.

     Once upon a time, Rosie had been the love of my life. I had never cared about Talía, or any other woman in my life. For some reason our paths always went in different directions, exactly like what had just happened with us this time.

      I had some feelings for Mia... but with everything that had happened, I felt confused.  I wasn't even sure what she felt for Fernando anymore, and if she was still thinking of him, maybe they did have sex, and she just didn't wanted to confess it to me.

Sitting inside my office trying to calm down, there's a knock on the door.

"Samuel, I'm sorry to disturb you. Mia wants to know if she's going to be moving out tonight?" Madi asks nervously.

     Maybe she wants to get out of here, and go looking for Fernando. Was I capable of letting her go? Maybe, under different circumstances.

After trying to contact Rosie in each way I could possibly, she was nowhere to be found.
I was informed that my father was asking for me to not continue to attempt to make contact with her. I disliked having to let them know my every move, but when business deals could be affected by my decisions, I was better to keep peace with my parents.

"No. She's not going anywhere!" I roared at poor Mari.

"But... Sam–" she starts saying.

"It's an order, Maria!"

"Si, patron" (yes, boss) she says and walks out.

This was all too much. Once again, I need to leave this place before I decided to go looking for Mia. I knew I had strong feelings for her. With Rosie, it was more of the memories of what I could never have. But Mia, she will always be mine!
