"You're training with Pervy Sage too?!" Naruto shouted, surprised to see Sonata stretching near the pond where Pervy Sage told him to meet up at."I've been training with the guy for the past two days." She tapped her chin as thought about what he said. "Huh, pervy sage do kind of fit him."
"What did I tell you about calling me that!" Jiraiya appeared out of nowhere, knocking Naruto on the head. "Kids have no manners these days."
"You have no right to talk about manners." Naruto mumbled as he rubbed his head.
"Yeah, Yeah." Jiraiya waved his hand in the air. Sonata sweat dropped. Yup, all the villagers were the same. "Anyway. Sonata you can work on what you were doing yesterday. Naruto, stand on the water."
"Roger that Captain." Sonata said. She pulled out a water balloon from the bag she brought with her, as she curiously watched Naruto walk on to the pond. She held back a laugh when he immediately fell in after only standing on it for a couple of seconds.
She cleared her throat when Jiraiya shot her a look, and started concentrating on the water balloon in her palm. She took a deep breath, hoping to get it right today. She concentrated her chakra towards her hand, and into the water balloon. Not too much chakra, she had to keep reminding herself. It was easy for her to exert out too much chakra which would cause the balloon to pop.
She huffed silently, a little frustrated. The balloon just wouldn't rotate fast enough. She was too scared to exert more chakra into it, in fear of failing.
"Just relax kid. If you don't relax, and try to feel the flow of your chakra you won't make it past the water balloon phase." Jiraiya called out.
"I'm tired of this water!!" Naruto shouted, frustrated as well. "It's been over 30 minutes and I haven't progressed at all."
Jiraiya noticed the seal on Naruto's stomach looked different from before. "Kid, come here?" He commanded.
Sonata thinking he was talking to her, stopped with her water balloon, and walked over to him.
"Not you. You!" Jiraiya sighed, pointing at Naruto.
Naruto walked over to Jiraiya, hoping he wasn't being weird again. "What this time... what the heck?!" Naruto shouted, as Pervy stage pulled his white t-shirt up. Sonata eyes widened in confusion. Was she witnessing something she wasn't suppose to??
"I thought so." Jiraiya said, ignoring the two. He sent chakra to his fingers, and quickly placed them on the seal. He twisted the markings, reversing them. Causing Naruto to double over in pain. "Pervy sage, you'll pay for this!" Naruto shouted.
They both turned around as they heard something hit the ground. Sonata was holding her head in pain. "Ouch." She breathed. For a second, she had blacked out. She saw a glimpse of something. Something orange. She started to feel the same feeling from before coming from Naruto, but it had went away a couple of weeks ago. It was back now.
Naruto rushed over to her, forgetting his own pain. "Sonata, are you okay??" He asked, his blue eyes filled with worry. "Are you not feeling well?" He placed a hand on her forehead. It didn't feel like she had a fever.
Jiraiya was starting to feel like his assumption was right about this girl. Her chakra grew once the nine tails seal was opened on Naruto's stomach.
"She's fine, Naruto." Jiraiya said. "Now go walk back on the water." The results should be different this time.
Sonata rubbed her forehead, as she stood back up. The pain was gone now. She gave Naruto a little smile. "I'm fine. Now listen to our sensei." She said.
He gave her another worried look, but did what they said. Excitement grew on his face, and Sonata started clapping. He was now standing, effortlessly on the water. "I did it Pervy Sage, whatever you did, you're a genius!!" Naruto shouted, happily.
"Hey Sonata, what village did you say your parents found you in?" Jiraiya asked. They were now sitting down, taking a small break. Naruto was still trying to summon up a toad. Sonata raised her eyebrows, wondering if this was a trick question. "I never mentioned my parents being from any village, Jiraiya sensei." She answered.
"Is that so? Do you mind me asking exactly where their from?" He asked.
"I don't remember. I can only remember them dying." She spoke a little bit more quieter than usual. "Please don't ask me to remember. When I try to remember anything else about them, I get a bad headache which causes me to pass out." It happened to her three times, after that she stopped trying to remember them.
It looked as if Jiraiya had a lot more research to do now. He didn't think the girl was dangerous, he couldn't sense a inch of darkness coming from her. But he had to be sure, her chakra was too different from what he has ever felt.
"What about your adoptive parents?" He asked. He watched her face brighten and her brown eyes feel with love, and happiness. "I'm not sure what village they came from, but I do know they're the nicest people in the world."

"What the heck are you crazy?!" Sonata panicked. Jiraiya had pushed Naruto off a cliff. She was freaking out. She was scared. Jiraiya was a mad man!!
"We have to save him!!" She yelled, wondering why Jiraiya was being so calm. Then she started back away from him. Her eyes wide with fear. "Am I next? Are you gonna kill me next?" She rather just jumped by herself, instead of being pushed.
Jiraiya rolled his eyes. "He's not going to die." Well, he hoped he wasn't. "This is the only way he'll be able to move forward. Just calm down. You still feel his chakra, don't you?"
She stayed quiet, but nodded her head. He was right. She did feel his chakra. She felt more than just his chakra. She was feeling the other chakra Naruto had. She never understood why he had two. And it was calling to her.
She was starting to feel dizzy. "Jiraiya sensei." She called out in fear as a suffocating feeling surrounded her. She could feel her eyes closing, and then she passed out. Jiraiya anticipated this, and caught her before she hit the ground.
Her chakra was reacting to the nine tails chakra being used.
Jiraiya used the teleportation jutsu out of the area, not wanting to be near when Naruto summoned up the big guy. It wasn't going to be a pretty sight. He had to go see the Hokage anyway.
He dropped off Sonata at her apartment first. He noticed she had no pictures of her adoptive family at all.
"Have you guys tried to look into her mind?" Jiraiya asked the Lord Hokage. They were discussing Sonata.
"As mysterious as the girl's background is. I don't believe she's lying to us about anything. I want her to feel like we trust her." Lord Hokage answered.
Jiraiya sighed, "I don't get the feeling that she's lying either. And I also have a feeling that she doesn't know what she's capable of. I'm wondering how did she make it out there when she's a huge power tool. Are we the only ones who figured out what/who she is?"
"Even so. She is now in our hands, so we have to treat her right. And we have to keep her protected. That's why I had her under Kakashi's watch. That's why I'm allowing you to take her, and Naruto after the chunin exams to continue training them both."
Jiraiya had his hands full. He always got stuck with the kids that had the most potential, but the weirdest personalities.
