Runå is walking through the village of Kattegat and she smiles at a young man close to her age and the young man approaches her and says "Runå, it's a pleasure to meet you" Runå's eyebrows furrow in confusion "I am sorry, but how did you know my name?" The man smirks and says "You are Runå the Daughter of Floki the boat builder no?" Runå nods "Yes that is correct and who might you be?" The man smirks "My name is Grim. You have a lovely name" Runå smiles "Thank you Grim"
Later that day Runå walks inside The Great Hall to see Ragnar and Aslaug both on their thrones and Ubbe and Hvitserk both run up to Runå. The young children both say "Runå!" Runå smiles as she crouches down "Hello Boys" and she envelopes them into a hug. Ragnar stands up and smiles widely "Runå, what can I do for you?" Runå stands up straight and says "Hello Ragnar, I was wondering if you have seen my Father? He seems to have disappeared" Ragnar purses his lips and shakes his head "No I have not yet seen him" Floki and Helga walk inside The Great Hall and Ragnar motions his head towards Floki and Helga. Runå turns around and comes face to face with her parents Runå asks "Father, where have you been?" Floki smiles "I was building a boat My Dear Runå for Ragnar. We are going on a raid soon" Runå nods. Ragnar says "Please sit and stay we are having a feast tonight and you three are more than welcome to come and join us" Helga nods and says "It will be our pleasure Ragnar"
Runå is sitting by the stream watching the water intently and hearing the water when Grim appears behind her and says "This is calming" Runå looks up at Grim and says "Yes it is very calming" Grim sits beside Runå and nudges Runå and asks "Why is it you never smile?" Runå says "I do smile" Grim says "Not all the time, not like the other women around here" Runå shrugs her shoulders and says "There isn't much to be smiling about is there" Grim says "Well I think there is" as he clasps his hands. Grim leans towards Runå and kisses her and she pulls back and says "I am sorry if I have mislead you but-" Grim stands up and says disappointed "No I understand" and he walks off.
Runå walks into her hut she shares with Floki and Helga when she sees Björn sitting on the floor. Runå's eyes widen in shock as she gasps and Björn looks at Runå and he stands up and awkwardly smiles "Runå, hello it has been a long time" Runå nods "Björn is that really you?" and she approaches him and touches his cheek and Björn grasps her hand and looks down at her and says "Yes it is really me. I have waited a long time for this" and he leans down to kiss Runå but Runå slaps Björn across the face causing Björn to stand up straight and he asks "I do not understand. Before I left we were fine but now - what's changed?" Runå scoffs in disbelief and says "What has changed? I will tell you Björn you left! You left me!" Björn says "I had to, I had to go with my Mother" Runå turns her back on Björn and says "You had a choice" Björn says "I was only twelve years old" Runå wipes away her tears and says "You left five year ago! Why come back now?!" Floki walks in and he looks at Björn and Runå but notices his Daughters tears and asks "Runå are you okay?" Runå nods "Yes Father I am fine. Björn was just leaving" Björn's face falls and he says "Runå" Floki walks to Runå and says "You heard Runå leave. You have broken my Daughters heart for the last time Björn now leave" and Björn looks at Runå one last time and he leaves and Floki engulfs Runå into a hug and she sobs and asks "Why did he come back Father? Why?" Floki rubs her back and says "I have no idea my child but I do know one thing Björn will not cause you heartache anymore" and Runå nods.
