It is early in the morning and Runå is walking home after her attack and she winces in pain. Runå walks into her hut and she closes her eyes as she sees Floki eating his breakfast and Floki's eyes doll with confusion and concern "Runå, where have you been?" Runå says "I stayed with Björn last night" Floki shouts "You what?!" Runå says "Father, calm down" Floki says "I am going to have a word with Björn" and Floki walks past Runå and marches out of the hut. Helga appears in front of Runå and she sees the scared look on her Daughters face "Runå, my dear child what is wrong?" Runå says frantically "Mother, you have to stop Father!" Helga asks "Why Sweetheart, what is wrong?" "I told Father I overstayed at Björn's hut last night but I did not" Helga tilts her head to the side and says "Where did you sleep? and why would you lie to your Father?" Runå begins to cry and Helga hugs her Daughter but sees dark bruises on her arms and asks "Who done this to you?" Runå says "It was Grim" and Helga's face softens as her Daughter breaks down in her arms.

Björn is putting on his fur clock when Floki bangs his fist on the hut door and Björn opens the door and says "Floki, how can I be of service?" Floki says "I do not want Runå to overstay here am I understood, not until you both are married!" Björn's eyebrows knit together in confusion "I have respect for Runå, I would not treat her as if she was a whore! Runå did not stay here" and Floki's eyes are filled with confusion.

The next day Runå is walking through Kattegat and she bumps into Grim and Grim looks her up and down "Well well Runå it is lovely to see you" and he touches her arm and she rips it from his grip "Do not touch me!" Grim chuckles and says "Have you not realised yet? I can touch you whenever I want" Runå glares at Grim and says "No! I may not be a Shield maiden but I will kill you if you lay a finger on me" Björn who is standing outside The Great Hall looks over and sees Runå's glare at Grim and his eyes full with confusion and concern.

Björn walks into Runå's bedroom and Runå stands up and asks "Björn, what are you doing here?" Björn says "Helga invited me in" Björn sits on the bed beside Runå and asks "Runå my Love what is wrong? Something is troubling you..I can feel it" Runå shakes her head "No, nothing is troubling me Björn I am fine" Björn shakes his head and says "I thought we shared no secrets hm?" Runå says "I am fine" and Björn leans in and kisses Runå but she pulls back and says "I am sorry but I cannot, not right now" and Björn nods "Okay" he looks at Runå with concern.
NEXT TIME: Björn notices Runå's bruising. Floki confronts Runå. Runå tries to be strong.
