PREVIOUSLY: Björn proposed to Runå. Ragnar, Floki and Helga found out about the pregnancy. Björn protected Runå and killed Ulfrik.

Runå and Björn are laying in bed awake and Björn is tracing his fingertips on Runå's bare upper arm and she says "Thank you for protecting me" Björn sits up in bed and looks down at Runå and caresses her cheek and says "I will always protect you" Runå smiles and says "I will always love you Björn." Björn smirks and says "You better" and Runa giggles and Björn places his hand on Runå's stomach and leans down and kisses Runå.

Runå walks into her parents hut and she hears Floki saying to Helga "This is worrying!" Runå closes the door and says "I apologise if I am interrupting" Helga smiles at her Daughter "No Sweetheart, you are not interrupting us. Please sit down" Runå nods and says "Very well". Runå sits down at the wooden table and Floki and Helga sit next to Runå both sitting at each end of Runå. Floki says "Not only are you with child but you are engaged to be married?" Runå nods "Björn and I love each other. We want to start a family together" Helga smiles fondly at Runå and Floki says "I am not happy about this Runå" Runå asks "Why are you not happy Father?" Floki leans in the table and says "I will tell you why I am not amused Runå, you are only a child yourself" Runå asks "How old was Mother when she fell pregnant?" Floki shouts "That is not the point!" and Runå stands up and says "All I wanted was both of your blessing for Björn and me" and Runå walks out of the hut and Helga looks across at Floki in disapproval.

Björn is outside and Lagertha walks towards her only Son and asks "Is this true? Runå is with child?" Björn bites his bottom lip and says "Yes Mother, it is true" Lagertha shakes her head "and you could not confide in me? You could not tell me that you are expecting a child?" Björn smirks "Sorry Mother, but Runå and me thought it was best to keep the news a secret for a while. Do we have your blessing?" After a moment Lagertha breaks a smile and says "Of course you do, I am thrilled at the news. I am going to be a Grandmother" and Björn chuckles and they hug.

Runå is sitting by the river on the grass when Björn appears behind her and says "Beautiful sight, is it not?" Runå nods "Yes, it is" and Björn sits beside Runå and asks "What is wrong my Love?" Runå says as she stares ahead at the river "My Father disapproves of our joyous news. My Mother is happy for us but my Father is not" Björn rubs Runå's back and says "It is not your Father I am marrying. I love you Runå, I want you, me and the baby to be healthy and happy just the three of us" and Björn presses his forehead against Runå's forehead and Runå kisses Björn and says "I love you, Always and Forever Björn Ragnarsson"
