At First Sight

            Waluigi and Wario were walking back home in the underground, after meeting with some of Wario's business 'friends'. He tagged along because he didn't really have anything else to do. Outside of tending to his piranha plants and participating in sports, he didn't have any hobbies really. He tried not to think about it, but it's started to bother him more and more. He felt like he didn't have a purpose of his own, or a passion to pursue. Most people had hobbies, jobs, or at least a friend that genuinely cared. Waluigi growled at the impossibility of him having a normal friend, especially with a girl. He didn't have a good rep with the ladies, or anyone really. "Bro...Walu!" Wario snapped, trying to pull Waluigi out of his depressing thoughts.

"Wa? Sorry what were you saying?" Waluigi looked over at his brother with little interest.

"I was sayin' that we really hit the jackpot with this deal Walu, aren't you excited? These guys could make us rich, and we'd finally be able to get outta this dump!" Wario exclaimed. He always got his hopes up when he was presented with a new get rich quick scheme, but it always ended up blowing up in his face. We won't get out of here, at least not any time soon. The underground was where we lived. Full of criminals and koopalings. It was where all the shady business happened. No one was there to supervise its activities for it was too far gone. 

Wario rambled on about how he was going to get a mansion or even a castle, filled with all his riches and other crap. I couldn't bother to listen to it. A bit ahead of us was a tall girl looking into a shop window. She stuck out like a sore thumb. She was about Rosalina's height, with light brown hair that twisted and curled beautifully to her lower back. She had a mid-thigh length mock neck grey sweater dress that hugged her pear figure nicely, and black stockings that creeped a few inches above her knees. She definitely wasn't from around here, a pretty human girl with such graceful but laid-back stature. She turned away from the window and started walking our way. I had stared at her the whole time, trying to figure out who she was. I had never seen her at any of the races or games, could she be new to the mushroom kingdom? As she got closer, I could see a small, golden crown placed upon her head. A princess? Definitely not from here, but why would she be in the underground? All alone as well. Wario picked up on the peculiar situation as well and shot a confused look at me. Only a few feet away now, she met my eyes that analyzed her so intensely. She gave a soft but devious smile and winked at him before passing by. His eyes widened in disbelief. No one had ever winked at him before. He turned around with a skeptical look on his face, along with a touch of pink on his cheeks. She had narrow shoulders that led to a pinched waist and dramatically grew out to her biggest asset one could say, before leading to her long and slender legs. Her large hips swayed back and forth as she walked, like a pocket watch trying to hypnotize him. "Hey Walu, you know that girl? Cuz it looks like she knows you," Wario laughed and nudged me.

"I've never seen her around, have you?" Waluigi asked.

"No, but I wouldn't mind seeing her around some more. Wahaha!" Wario replied as he joined in on watching the princess turn the corner and disappear. He was disappointed when she was no longer visible. He was scared that he'd never see her again. He sighed and we continued to walk to our crappy house. When they reached their house he went straight to bed. He wasn't hungry all that often like Wario, and he couldn't get the image of that mysterious princess out of his head. She definitely didn't look like a typical princess, with the bright colors, poofy dresses, and makeup. 'It's not like I can go up to Peach or Daisy and ask, even though they'd probably have info on her. Don't all princesses know each other? Well it doesn't matter, I'm not gonna ask them. Like they'd ever tell me anything if I did anyway.' Waluigi drifted off to sleep with her on his mind, he was more curious than anything.
