"Hey Aria. Hi...Waluigi..." Peach said, sweat beading on her forehead. Waluigi gave a simple nod of acknowledgement, knowing that his presence was most definitely unwanted.

"So what are the teams?" Aria asked, hoping to break the awkwardness.

"Well, I'll be teamed up with Mario, and Daisy with Luigi. You can team up with anyone you want. I know you don't know many people so I can help you find a partner if you'd like," Peach said, hoping she would pick anyone other than Waluigi. Before Aria could turn to Waluigi to ask him to be her partner, Daisy chimed in.

"Actually Aria I'd love to play with you! Luigi can find someone else to play with this time, I'm sure he wouldn't mind," Daisy said desperately. Aria could see the disappointment in Luigi's face and wondered why he didn't stand up to her. Aria felt awkward declining another princess so she reluctantly accepted the offer. Daisy shot Waluigi a glare and grabbed onto Aria before walking to the other end of the court. Waluigi sat on the sideline with the other citizens and watched as Daisy and Aria played against Peach and Mario. 'Stupid Luigi, too afraid to get his girl to stick with him. If Luigi had just protested a little then I might have been able to play with Aria.' He was disappointed, but he wasn't exactly shocked by their rejection of him, it was expected. Aria looked sadly at Waluigi, an empty area surrounded him like a school of fish around a hungry shark. She wondered if they ostracized him more out of disgust or fear before Daisy got her attention. "You ready?" Daisy smiled.

"Oh, yeah sorry," Aria fake smiled and got in a ready stance. Even though he couldn't play with her, Waluigi didn't mind watching her body in motion. She was fast and vicious. Her toned legs darted around the court, and her hair whipped angrily at her sharp turns. He took in the accents of the slim but curvaceous body. She seemed to be quite good at tennis. Not as good as him of course, no one was better than Waluigi, but she could probably be a worthy opponent.

After some time it was now his turn to show off his skills. He resorted to teaming up with Wario. He faced Daisy and Aria across the net, and waited for her to start the match. Aria threw the ball in the air and smacked it down with all her force. She was not holding back, she wouldn't for anyone. Waluigi was caught off guard with this unexpected strength, but he wouldn't let it trip him up. He leaped for the ball and gave a powerful return. Aria was surprised that he managed to send it back, it caused her smirk in interest. She wanted to push him to his limits, tire him out. With every strike she had him dancing around the court, but so did he. They both started to feel worn out from this test of endurance, but it only excited them. She looked at his broad shoulders, how they raised with his heavy breathing, his long skinny legs, and determined expression. Waluigi noticed that she was looking him up and down, the way he did when he was sat out, and smirked. He could use this to his advantage. She paid so much attention to his lean body that she was caught off guard and ended up missing the ball. After this, she tried her best to focus, but found it hard. Why couldn't she just focus on the game? She had never really had problems with men occupying her mind, especially at times like these. Even though she had a strong strike and quick reactions, it was no match for Waluigi's talent. Waluigi and Wario won by a small margin, but won nonetheless. Waluigi shared a little victory dance with Wario. Daisy groaned but Aria just smiled at the two and giggled. Waluigi heard the faint giggling and saw Aria chuckling with a hand over her mouth. She walked over to the net and held out her arm. "Good game guys!" She said. The brothers were confused as no one has really shown sportsmanship towards them, mostly because they found their victory dances very rude. They walked over with big grins on their faces and shook her hand one by one. Everyone looked on with skepticism but chalked it up to her not knowing how things worked around here. She was new so she was naïve they figured.
