Goddess In Disguise (On-Going)

Chapter 1

A WOMAN possessing surreal beauty and genuine heart is enjoying the scenery above while she is expertly riding at the back of her dragon, flying smoothly in the sky. Nakatayo siya sa likuran ng dragon at walang takot na sinasabayan ang bilis ng paglipad nito. She seems comfortable with what she's doing dahil paminsan-minsan ay nagagawa pa nitong ipikit ang mga mata habang idinidipa ang kaniyang mga braso, ninanamnam ang pagihip ng malamig na hangin sa kaniyang mala-nyebeng balat. Isinasayaw naman ng hangin ang kaniyang blonde na buhok.

She really likes being in the sky because of the cold breeze of the wind that she found refreshing in her skin. Doing this everyday will never makes her bored because this made her calm. Pakiramdam niya ay sa bawat pag-ihip ng hangin ay natatangay ang mga problemang pilit niyang kinakalimutan.

Sinusubukan niya rin minsan na hawakan ang mga ulap kahit alam niyang napaka-imposibleng gawin ang bagay na iyon. Doing such thing makes her happy and somehow she find her happiness in everything that she see and do in nature. Nandiyan na makikipag-karera siya sa mga pating at dolphin sa karagatan, magpatayugan ng lipad sa mga ibon at magpalakasan sa mga malalakas at dambuhalang hayop sa kagubatan.

She didn't give a damn to what others may say to her. Wala siyang pakialam kung nawi-weirduhan ang iba sa kaniya dahil ang mahalaga lang sa kaniya ay ang pansamantalang kasiyahan at kapayapaan ng kaniyang buhay, malayo sa buhay niya sa palasyo habang ginagampanan ang kaniyang tungkulin bilang isang prinsesa.

She strongly disagree to others saying that being a princess is everyone's dream because for her, it's the opposite of it. Happy ever after is something she wants for herself as well but look what she have. A life that is her freedom was not tolerated. A life that happiness is nowhere to be found. Kaya nga kahit ano ay talagang ginagawa niya para lang mapasaya ang kaniyang sarili dahil kapag nasa loob na siya ng palasyo ay hindi na niya magagawa ang mga bagay na iyon. Her parents will surely disciplined her from doing such foolish things because for them, her identity and behavior must be suitable for a princess like her. And she's very sick of it. Kung pwede nga lang layasan ang mga ito ay matagal na niyang ginawa.

She heaved a deep breath because she's starting to get annoyed. "Calm down Azumi. Calm down." Pagpapakalma niya sa kaniyang sarili habang nakapikit ang kaniyang mga mata. She then forced a smile. "Just think of something positive. Don't let your anger ruined this day."

When she finally feels good, she open her eyes. Pagmulat ng kaniyang mga ginintuang mga mata ay tumuon ang kaniyang atensiyon sa kalupaan, pinagmamasadan ang lahat ng may buhay sa mundong kaniyang tinitirhan. She sees how every flaps of her dragon's wings produces strong force of wind that can make trees and any plants in the ground bend and sway. Napangiti nalang siya ng makita iyon dahil tila nagsasayawan ang mga puno sa saliw ng hangin. Mother Nature really cheer her up, something that her own parents doesn't. Well, they care but it's just that her happiness was not considered by them. They give her  a very wealthy life but she still feel incomplete.

"Hera, let's go down there" utos ng babae sa alaga nitong dragon at tulad ng inaasahan ay kaagad siyang sinunod nito. The dragon landed gently at the place where the Princess picked to spend her spare time. She still have three hours before her curfew so she don't need to hurry.

Nakangiting tumalon ang prinsesa pababa hanggang maglapat ang paa nito sa buhanginan. After that, she walk toward the sea and then let the sea water reached her bare foot.

Hmmm. So cold.

This is why she like spending her last hours enjoying in the seashore. The rough texture of the sand, the cold sea water, and the freshness of the sea gives positive effect on her. She's happy but not genuinely happy.

The lady heaved a deep sighed because no matter how she forced herself to be happy, she couldn't. A glint of mix emotion such as happiness and sadness instantly become visible in her face. It seems that she already reached her limit of faking herself. No one knows how much she suffered inside because of her mastery to pretending. Literally no one knows that behind all of her smile is hiding a painful reality she have been through in her entire life. Ang buhay na hiniling niyang hindi naang sana ipinagkaloob sa kaniya ng Diyos.
