[NINE]

WANT YOU BACK

my eyes fluttered open once i felt a strong light hit my face. i let out a squeal as the first thing i faced was five faces way too close to me. i looked around, confused on my whereabouts. i recognized a familiar room and i quickly understood i was in daniel's room.

"what is all of this?" i asked, sitting up but falling right back down when i was hit by a horrible migraine. i groaned as i massaged my forehead slowly.

"oh thank the lord! no hospital for us today, baby!" zach exclaimed, happily jumping around the room.
"i'm so sorry." jack sobbed, next to me and i glared at him, confused.

"it's okay?" i replied confusingly. why was he crying? what even happened?

"no, it's not. i'm sorry, i'm sorry." he said, repeating the word sorry over and over again. i tapped his back awkwardly as his wet tears fell on my t-shirt.
"someone explain?" i mouthed to the boys and they all turned to daniel who sighed.

"there was a fight. and jack may have or may have not hit you accidently during it. and being the idiots we are, we didn't noticed you were hurt." daniel explained to me, looking at the ground.

"well i'm alright, i guess." i said and jack wiped away his tears.

"we're sorry." daniel added and i nodded even though this situation was really confusing.

"can i...can i talk to you for a sec?" jack asked me and he then turned to the boys before breathing deeply. "privately, please." he continued and i nodded.

daniel glared at his bandmate but jack ignored him. the boys all went outside daniel's bedroom one at a time. jack sat down next to me after i sat up on daniel's bed.

"please wait until i'm completely done to tell me what you think about what i'm going to say." jack said, his eyes were full of tears and his hands were shaking. "i'm sorry about the stupid things i did in october. i could never forget myself about this, i was sober and you were drunk and i didn't think this through at all. this should've never happened, it was wrong in every way. i know i fucked up yours and daniel's relationship because of how stupid i was. the thing was that, i used to find you really pretty and i was jealous of daniel. you never really gave me any attention. and i had the chance to prove you how much i liked you and i didn't use the right way to."

jack loved me? that was weird. i never had noticed. maybe i was just too blind.

"i-i don't...i don't know what to say about that." i stammered and jack sighed.
"you don't have to. i just thought i'd let you know." jack told me, closing his eyes.

he got up and walked towards the door. he got out and shut it behind him. i took this moment alone to take a deep breath nd think about what was happening. in less than 2 days, 3 boys had told me that they loved me. how crazy was that?

"madison! you have a visitor!" i heard corbyn's voice booming through the house. i heard footsteps coming up the stairs and a knock on my door. the knock turned and tom walked through it. a smile instantly appeared on my face.

"hi love." tom smiled to me as he sat down on the bed. he leaned in and posed a soft kiss on my lips. "for you." he said before handing flowers to me and i chuckled.
"flowers? really?" i asked, laughing and he nodded. "how was yesterday night?"

"what do you mean?" he answered and i put the flowers besides me.

"i believe i made you wait for like 10 hours in your car." i smiled and he chuckled.

"one of the boys told me they'll take care of you and that i could come pick you up today." he explained to me and i nodded. "how was your night? i only got some small details about it. i don't think it went greatly though."
