Jason POV: "wow. Your amazing!" Jade said with wide eyes of wonder.  I give her a smile.

"Uh, thank you."

"Did he teach you?"

"No. I taught myself with a broken keyboard my friend 'found' for me."

At the word 'found,' Jade gives me a confused look.

"He stole it."

"Oh."

"He didn't tell me that till I was already learning. He went back to find out they bought a new one anyway. The family was rich."

"I see. Who was this stealing friend of yours?"

"Marcus." and I miss him. I almost said it. But there was no reason to. I didn't need her pity.

Jade just gives a nod, looking away in what I assume was in deep thought. I turn around as she sat in silence, to check the view of the outside world. I found it odd and nice to be able to look out at the world whenever you wanted without having to sneak through 3 stories 2 days a week so you can breath fresh air.

The sky was already full of night, the clouds coloring the air in grey. It was still beautiful. Maybe it was just me I suppose, for not seeing the outside like this for all my life. Even after a week it felt alien.

"Wow it's later than I thought it would be." Jade comes to my side also staring out the window, the time on her phone supporting her words. It was 10:30. Not that that was very late. I was used to stay up all night.

"I think I'm going to go to bed. It was fun hanging with you. Um, see tomorrow I guess."

"Totally. We should do this again sometime. I can teach you how to play the piano and you can teach me how to play the drum kit."

She gives me a smile, one that was grateful and shocked at the invitation. I could read it in her mind, and just in the way she looked me- She was guilty for all that she put on my shoulders a week ago in her flames. Even though she shouldn't be. I felt for her, understood her pain. The thought of being a burden. But I wasn't doing all of this just out of empathy, I truly just wanted to know my sister. I felt that she needed this and wanted this too.

"Ok. awesome. Sounds great. I.... i'm glad we found you Jason." Jade comes closer to me, moving her hands around her, and at her sides, and around her again in her own debate. I know it was dumb, but I was a little nervous at the thought of her reaching out to hug me. It shouldn't mean anything, but it did.

Jade lets out a sigh, and gives a wave as she turns around.

"Goodnight, Jason." thank good.

"Goodnight Jade."

The door closes behind her as she exits, leaving me in the dark music room alone, staring out the window once more.

Then a small noise came up through the cracks of hallways, and through the slits of doors , reaching into the room for myself to hear. It was the sound of heavy wind. But what brought me standing, staring through the cracks of the door was the feeling of a darkness, and a memory that still haunts me. This was it. It was time I suppose, I faced the monster he created.

Third POV: She reached the front door, ran down the steps into the front yard of the institute, and through the gate. But when she was the only pair of feet she could hear, she stopped to take a breath, turning around to find the demon was no longer after her.
