"Kyaa! Look! It's the host club!" A long haired, brunette shrieked happily, her yellow dress twisting as she consulted to her friends about her newest find. A shorter girl, black hair and dressed in the same yellow dress, stood on her toes trying to see the famous group of men, "really?! Where?!"

"There!"

It was a cool, sunny day in Tokyo, Japan. Ouran Private had officially opened its gates to start the new school year. Sakura trees lined the path, a few pink petals danced in the air as a small breeze blew by.

"Kae-chan! Kae-chan!"

"Hmm?" Akiyama Kaede, a second year, turned just in time to see his smaller senpai bolting towards him at an almost inhuman speed. Kaede had little time to react and barely managed to stay upright as Honey launched himself onto the younger boy's back. Kaede laughed as his tried to keep himself balanced. "Honey-senpai! Has it become your life goal of launching yourself at me as if you were a spaceship aimed for space?"

Honey grinned cheekily as he wrapped his arms around Kaede's neck, "maybe~" The second year playfully pouted and then got an idea once he had seen that Tamaki and Kyoya weren't that far in front of them.

Kaede smirked up at Honey, "do you want to go give mommy and daddy a surprise visit?" Honey brightened and nodded enthusiastically. Kaede prepared to sprint and with a "let's go" he quickly set off, Honey latched onto his back and Mori not too far behind.

Kaede's grin grew by the second the closer he got to the blond. Once he drew close, Kaede yelled a loud "daddy!" and pounced on the Suoh heir. Tamaki let out an undignified screech as he plowed to the ground, Kaede and Honey on top of him.

Kaede heard a sigh come from above him and he looked up. What he saw the vicious demon king who shook his head, his arms crossed like a mother who was trying to decide whether to scold her child or just give up and leave them. Kaede got off of the fallen king and left Honey to try and capture Tamaki's soul before it could escape forever.

The mischievous second year wrapped an arm around Kyoya's shoulders and grinned innocently as Kyoya gave him a look. "Still trying to decide whether or not to disown us, momma dearest?" Kaede questioned and let out a quiet giggle when Kyoya rolled his eyes. "I believe it would be best to just leave you all in a commoners supermarket and hope you can't find your way out," Kyoya replied and shook Kaede's arm off of him. Kaede let out a faux gasp of hurt and latched himself onto the teen. "You don't mean that, momma!" Kaede cried as he rubbed his cheek on Kyoya's, as if he were a cat of some sort.

Kyoya lightly pushed the other boy's face away, "As much as I would love to, the host club's profit would go down tremendously." Kaede pouted, "you make it sound like you hate it here. . ." Kyoya sent Kaede a sly smirk, "oh? I would never."

Kaede's cheeks turned a light pink and he freed Kyoya from his hug prison. "I felt the sarcasm purely radiating from you," He stuck his tongue out immaturely and Kyoya simply rolled his eyes in return.

Kaede turned his attention to Tamaki, who finally had his flamboyant spirit returned. "Eheh, Tama. . ? Has the kingdom fallen?"

Tamaki, who had been previously been knocked out by the sudden attack, bolted up from his stupor and grabbed onto Kaede's shoulders. "Never!" He cried.

Kaede, wide eyed, took a curious glance towards Kyoya, who gave a smug smile that said 'you started this, deal with it'. Kaede sent a glare towards the bespectacled teen and then turned his attention towards Tamaki. The best approach, the Akiyama heir decided, was to go along with it.
