It had taken a little while, but Kaede had finally managed to 'calm down' from his little adventure with a certain Ootori child. He rubbed a hand over his pink hued face muttering about the 'sneaky bastard'.

"A sneaky, no-good, obnoxiously interesting bastard–" Kaede cut himself off with a huff as he marched over to the shoreline to think of ways to get Kyoya back. Though, his plots for revenge didn't last very long as drama ensued.

"Tamaki-sama! It's Haruhi!"

Kaede didn't know what was going on. There were girls shrieking for Haruhi and Tamaki and there was shouts from several men. He bolted towards the loud mess. He was the second to arrive, Tamaki in the lead. Kaede watched as one of the strangers punched Haruhi. All he felt in that slow moment of watching Haruhi fall off the cliff edge was fear and intense fury.

"Haruhi!" Tamaki shouted, fear laced in his voice as he bolted and jumped after the submerged girl. Kaede ran to the closest harasser and punched him square in the face. "Don't you dare think you can touch Haruhi and walk away unharmed, you bastards!" He growled and ducked from an oncoming punch. The scraggiest male sneered at the charcoal haired boy, "you think you're tough do you? Looks like you need a little lesson."

"Oh really? Let's hope my teacher isn't incompetent then, shall we?"

It was enough to to buy some time, as Honey and Mori arrived, just seconds later, but Kaede wasn't leaving the fight completely unscathed. The second male (the third still dazed from the punch) had used Kaede's inattentiveness to his advantage and launched a kick towards his side.

Kaede cried out some obscenities as he stumbled and nearly fell over. "Ka-chan!" Kaede heard Honey yell, but he didn't pay too much attention for he was throwing a punch at the second man in retaliation.

He didn't really know what was going on with the day, first his little adventure with Kyoya and now this mess? All he wanted was a nap.

Kaede was pulled away from the fight by Mori as Honey put the men out of commission. "Are you alright?" Mori asked and Kaede gave a nod in response. Just peachy, he thought to himself as he looked around for Haruhi and Tamaki.

He spotted the two in the distance and bolted for the shore, Mori and Honey following just behind (after leaving the men with the guards). "Haruhi! Tamaki!" Kaede cried as he reached the growing crowd. Once he had arrived he was redirected to Honey, who was to call a doctor and consult Nekozawa. Kaede looked at the Haruhi and Tamaki with a stricken look before following his senpai.

Honey noticed the look before giving Kaede a hug, "they'll be alright, Ka-chan. We need to get you feeling better." Kaede was quiet for a few moments, thinking of the past events that flashed by rather quickly, before he murmured a soft, "yeah."

"The weather really changed. . ." A twin mentioned as he looked out the window. Honey pouted as he did the same, "I wanted to play with fireworks." The second twin supplies a nod, "yeah, me too. . . Haruhi, it's your turn."

"Four, five, six. . . 'Five years later, suffers in an automobile accident and fractures the left wrist' what the hell?" Hikaru questioned as he read out the lines. Kyoya told his, "'Twelve years later, company goes bankrupt. Reduced to working as a janitor at a department store' it's not even funny." He let out a sigh. Kaede quietly sniggered, "I don't know, you as a janitor seems pretty hilarious to me." Kyoya rolled his eyes, "then what was yours?"

"'A harsh reality will make itself known within the next few months'" Kaede read. The twins sniggered, "wonder what that will be?" "Perhaps that you can no longer hide from your true destiny: shark bait," Kyoya whispered in Kaede's ear. Kaede jumped at the voice and started to repeatedly smack Kyoya's arm, "stop doing that and I refuse to acknowledge that!" The twins looked at the two in wonder before glancing at each other and smirking.
