chapter 6

LISA POV

'How much more stupid can i get?!?'

My stomach turned from nerves and my head spun once I set foot out of the van, she was completely red! She looked like she was gunna faint from heat stroke at any second?!

Thump

Thump

I grabbed onto the vans door for stability the second i felt my heart beating faster and faster, it didn't feel like nervousness though-- more like excitement.. or maybe a mix- whatever it was, i needed to calm down.

I inhaled deeply through my nose, pausing once i couldn't inhale further and closed my eyes tight.

'aa-~'

'Mmm~'

My mind skipped to the moans I heard slip through Jennie's lips a few minutes ago, now my cheeks heated up along with the back of my ears. FUCK. What have i done?! She must have known i was awake! oh god..

she moaned....

Exhaling sharply I opened my eyes, glancing at Jennie's back as she walked in haste towards the elevator. I shook my head and quickly followed after, cussing internally until i stepped inside the elevator next to her, trying to quite my breathing since we stood in complete silence behind our manager who was accompanying us home like usual. I stole quick looks at Jennie beside me, noticing her strong grip on her phone and chewing at her lower lip.

'my eyes were closed, i didn't talk or move.. there's no way she could know i was awake- right?'

Not sure where this courage came from but i raised my left hand to her face and lightly poked her cheek with my index finger-

"You'll make your lip bleed if you keep biting it Nini.."

I kept my gaze locked on hers, waiting for an outburst of yelling and smacking for touching her and pretending to be asleep then having the nerve to talk to her- but instead; after the 1 and a half seconds that she took to stare at me, she weakly smiled with a faint nod then turned her gaze forwards.

I smiled internally in relief.

'She doesn't know..

..but i do'

We've been home for about 2 hours now and I'll be honest, there is a slight awkwardness to things but we ate together like normal, we've been talking like normal and Jennie even suggested we drink together to celebrate her win and blackpink's up and coming schedule for 2019.. so of course I said it was a great idea.

The alcohol will probably ease off the unspoken tension between us, and to make things even easier after the-- van. I suggested we watch a horror movie for the hell of it and to kill time waiting for Chaeng and Chu to get back. They are currently coming back from a fashion show abroad and are meant to be getting back at 11 pm, but our manager messaged us to say their flight was delayed.

So here I am, on the couch gripping the pillow while watching Insidious 3. I sat close to the arm rest since i like to be extra comfy when watching movies, Jennie sat dead on in the middle and covered both of us with a blanket and is also hiding behind a big stuffed toy, clenching her eyes closed when things get too scary.
