Audrey's POV

I feel nothing. Nothing but love. "Audrey?" I hear Ed ask. "Ed don't speak just hold me," I whisper, squinting my eyes shut. "Are you upset?" Ed asks. I let go and pull away so our eyes meet. My cold hands are on Ed's face and the stubble tickles my fingers. He looks at me with sorrowful eyes, constantly glancing down at our now clasped hands. He's nervous. "You make me... So happy. I want you to know that," I smile sadly at him, my eyes welling with tears. I struggle to continue. "I appreciate the fact that you would do that for me. But I need you to understand that if Ian ever finds me you will not provoke him. You will not put yourself in harms way, okay?" I tell him carefully, fear in my voice. "Why? Have you seen him? How close is he, is he contacting you?" Ed blurts, worry taking over. "No, I haven't seen him-" "Audrey you need to tell me if he's threatening you," Ed interupts. I break our contact, my head turning now to the window. Ed places his hand under my chin and gently presses our foreheads together. He sighs, his breathing shakey. "You are as important to me as I assume I am to you. We need to talk about this," he whispers. "I can't," I whisper back, falling into my seat again.

I don't want to.
