I hear the roar of the dragon Smaug coming from a distance worried that something has had to the others. Just then Tauriel comes back into the house "We have no time. We must leave!"

"Let's get her up." Bofur says as he comes to help Kili get me up "Come on,  come on! Up you go."

"I'm fine you two - I can walk," I say as I shrug their hands off and immediately fall over. Kili caught me before I hit the floor

"Are you sure about that Amrâlimê?" Kili asked holding me close to him.

"We're not leaving. Not without our father." Bain tells Tauriel

"If you stay here, your sisters will die. Is that what your father would want?" Tauriel ask him

"Bain, she's right we need to go now or we'll all die. You need to do what is best for your sisters. your father will understand."

Bain looks to Tauriel then me then nods and we all start going below the house and getting on the boat.

"Careful now love," Kili says helping me into the boat

"I am not a child Kee, I can manage." I try to tell him as he sets me in his lap

"I know Anigeal, I know, sorry I'm just worried. I did almost lose you." He points out hugging me

I turn to face him placing a hand on his cheek "Well I'm still here, so please do not fret love." I lean forward pressing my lips to his in a passionate kiss

"Come on, you two there are children here you know. Let alone me." Fili says making fake gagging noises

We break apart I look at him embarrassed "Oh, Um s-sorry Fili." I tell him Blushing and bared my face in Kili's chest

I hear Kili chuckle as we set off down the canal, Tauriel is poling the boat through the floating chunks of ice. As Smaug sconture to swoops overhead

"Look out!" Bain shouts as our boat collides with another, upsetting everyone. The others manage to push the boats apart, Tauriel hides the boat under an overhang until it's safe to go on. it. We look up and notice Bard at the top of the tower.

"Da!" Tilda and Bain shout

"He hit it! He hit the dragon!" Kili suddenly shouts

"No... Kili you must be seeing things."

"He did! He hit his mark, I saw it!" Kili says

''His arrows cannot pierce its hide; I fear nothing will,'' Tauriel softly says

Out of nowhere, Bain leaps up and grabs a hanging hook, swinging clear of the boat. The others grab at him and miss. He soon is out of sight

"What are you doing?!"

"Come back! Bain, come back!"

"Leave him! We cannot go back!"

"Bain!"

----

Oin, Bofur, Kili, and Fili, grab a boat and begin to push it out into the water.

"Kaya, come on! We're leaving."

I approach Tauriel smiling "I want to thank you. The others say without you I would've died."

"Those dwarves, they care a lot about you though you are half-elf. Why?" She asked seeming puzzled

"They're my friends." I smiled looking over at them "We've been through so much in the past year. I guess maybe in that time I've grown on them." I shrugged "I can't really say. Why don't you come with us? We could always use someone like you and I'm sure I can get Thorin to agree."

Tauriel turns her head away. "I'm sorry princess I can't."

I slowly nod saddened by her resopned  "I understand."

Tauriel sunddley stands straight addressing Legolas,  behind her. "Prince Legolas."

"Tauriel we are leaving. We are needed elsewhere."

Tauriel looks at me for a second then, begins to turn away. I  turn toward my friends, who are starting to launch the boat.

"Wait!" I run over to her "How can I ever repay you for saving my life,"

She stops turning around "That dwarf over there," she points to Kili "Do you truly love him?"

I smile "Why yes I do but I don't see how that's-"

"Care and love him." She says turning around and leaving with Legolas

I smiled to myself before walking over to the boat and we set sail for the lonely mountain. As We sail across the lake to Erebor I recap all things I have been through with the Dwarves and Bilbo. Also beginning to worry more about what has happened to the others. Suddenly I feel a tap on my shoulder breaking my train of thought.

"Are you coming or shall I carry you ma'lady."

I look up to see Kili with a goofy smile offering his hand. "As much as I would love that I think I'll walk," I tell him as he helps me up

He chuckles as we catch up to the others then we start our journey toward the lonely mountain. About Halfway through walking though, Kili ends up having to carry me on his back because I kept nearly falling over. I soon later start falling asleep as the other started humming a song as we traveled.
