I can't believe that I am writing that my mom Is getting married this Saturday. Mr john seems nice but he is not my Dad. I also heard he has a son so I'm going to have a brother but wait, what if he hates me and tries to frustrate me. What should I do?"

"Dear diary
Today is the wedding, It was lovely and small. Grandma came and I finally got to meet my step brother, he is handsome, a year older and nice also. I think we might get along. I have to go now."

"Dear diary.

Today is my first day in junior high school, I met some real mean guys but thank God my brother was there to save me. He's my hero."

Atinuke smiled as she flipped through her diary which she had been writing since little. She loved diaries because It helps her reminisce the past and also makes It hard to forget stuff's easily.

"Tinu, Tinu." I heard my brother yell.

"What?" I yell back knowing he was going to find his way to my bedroom door soon. It was his usual routine.

"You and this your diary. Only God knows what you write there. Mum is calling you ooh." He said.

"Is Dad back?" I ask.

"Nope." He said as I slipped the diary under my pillow and joined him by the door.
