My eyes opened, wide. I could hear people shouting and screaming all around me. My vision was blurry all I could see was the colour blue. My eyelids fell and opened again everything was slowed down. 'Hello can you hear me?' A man said listening to my chest. 'She's in shock' he reassured the nice, good looking man beside him. He waved in front of my eyes. My body was stuck there not moving.

'What's wrong with her?' The good looking one asked.

'She's in so much shock her body isn't able to move' he explained to the other. 'We need to get her out of here away from the plane' he ordered the other man. He picked up my arms and the good looking one grabbed my legs. My eyes were opening and shutting like I was about to fall asleep.

'Hello? My name is Jack Shepard I'm a doctor I need you to stay calm and hang in there okay' he ordered. My vision wasn't the best. 'Boone I need you to take care of her while I help the rest' he soon rushed off leaving 'Boone' to take care of me.

'If only you could tell me your name...' Those were the last words I heard before I had fallen back into a trance...

(Flashback 1)

'Passport?' The check in manager asked. I handed it to her not saying a word... I hated speaking to people by myself. 'April Brooks?' She questioned looking me up and down. I nodded.

As soon as I was done at the check in I went straight through to security. This was the scariest part for me on my own. Everyone in line was starring at my face probably because I had a bruise on my cheek. I tried to hide it with foundation as good as I could. 'Next please' I put my bag, jacket and phone in. I went through the metal detector and just my luck I happened to have beeped. I rolled my eyes and soon remembered I had my necklace on that I had had from my mom for my birthday last year.

After all the commotion of going through security I was finally in departures. I sat down with a coffee just to perk me up a bit. I was so afraid that I was going to be spotted out and taken home. I reckon I had issues with the outside world in general... I was always worried someone was watching me. It felt nice to not be attached to someone's arm... Not to be controlled by a husband you never loved. I felt my bruise and looked at my necklace. 'I wish you were here mom' I whispered to myself as a tear rolled down my cheek. 'What do I do?' I looked up as if she was watching over me.

(Present day)

Again my eyes widened to see that 'Boone' was still watching over me. 'Hello?' He questioned holding my head. I breathed heavily trying to push out one word.

'H......help' I whispered quietly. He hesitated quickly. My whole body started to tingle like It was coming back to life.

'Jack!' He shouted for. 'Jack!' He shouted again and soon came by my side again. 'You're gonna be okay' he held my hands. 'Can you tell me your name?' He ordered.

My throat was so dry it sounded like a whisper when I said it 'April' I struggled to say. 'Am....' I swallowed trying to get my words out. 'Am... I dead?' My head felt like It was spinning.

'No April you're alive... For now' he remarked. He shouted again. 'Jack!' But no one was coming. 'Can you move for me April?' He listened to my heart. 'Jack said you were in shock but... I don't know what to do I'm not a doctor' he shrugged and panicked.

'Something hurts' I looked down to see a chunk of glass in my thigh. My eyes widened even more. I started to cry as my body became more and more alive to the pain. 'It really hurts!' I screamed out loud.

'Okay April...' He tried to hush me. 'Just drink some water' he advised while he was still looking out for 'Jack'. Jack had finally come back and looked at Boone who was very pale. 'Her names April' he stepped back as Jack took the lead on me.

'Yeah we're gonna have to pull this out April...' He pricked at it which made me want to scream even louder. 'Can you move?' He asked.

'My body... It's... It feels funny' I sniffled. I took a huge breathe and held onto it.

'You're body is recovering from the shock...' He examined. 'On three I'm going to remove this piece of glass from your leg...' He reassured me. '1....2....' He pulled it out and my thigh gushed out with blood. I screamed and screamed as the pain was unbearable. 'Boone hold pressure there!' He pointed out while grabbed some clothes to wrap my thigh with.

'Please make it stop!' I shouted. 'Please' I cried the pain was getting worse. 'I want my mom' I cried even more.

'So much blood' Boone pointed out gagging on the side at the sight of it. 'April stay with us' he demanded while looking away. Jack had got a sewing kit from one of the suitcases and tried to stitch my cut up. I wasn't one for the hospital or the dentist for that matter. 'What's happening to her?' Boone asked.

'Im trying the best I can here Boone!' Jack snapped trying to work on me. I felt a flush coming on I didn't feel very well at all....

(Flashback 1)

As I got on the plane I was sat by a woman with brown hair and on the aisle seat a man who looked very serious. 'Don't worry love she won't be getting out of those cuffs anytime soon' he smirked at her. She was a fugitive I couldn't believe there was an actual fugitive on board.

'Are you a cop?' I asked looking at him seriously. He nodded then realised my bruise. I hid it immediately. 'Hopefully it's a nice flight not very good at flying' I tapped my fingers nervously.

'How did you get th_' he was interrupted by the air hostess. That was a close one.

'Juice for...' She hesitated.

'This one by here love' he pointed. 'Not everyday you have a fugitive on board' he laughed as he did so did she. 'Been hunting this one for ages... Kept changing her identity... The little brat' he gave the fugitive her juice.

'Well I hope you all enjoy your flight to Los Angeles' she smiled as all air hostess's do. 'Anything for you by the window there?' She asked.

'No thank you' it sounded muffled underneath my jacket but she soon left me to myself.

As soon as the seatbelt lights went off I went to get up for the toilet but some jackass pushed me to the side and got there first. 'Excuse me sir?' another air hostess pushed through. On second thought I didn't really need one anyway.

As I sat there looking out the window the lights on the plane flickered for a bit. 'Ladies and gentleman we're hitting some turbulence so I may advise you to put your seatbelts on and remain seated' the muffled voice was quite clear.

'Hey can I ask a favour?' The fugitive asked.

'Yeah sure_' a huge bang came along and the plane started shaking horrifically. Bags dropped from the over head lockers and hit the cop in the head and he started to bleed. The oxygen masks came down. I grabbed one and the fugitive grabbed the other and we both looked at each other scared.

People were falling down the aisle, vanishing. I clinged on to my seat and looked out the window seeing the plane falling from out of the sky... At that point everything went blank.
