(A/N: So this chapter ended up being a lot longer than I thought so I just decided to keep it this way instead of splitting it up because I'm lazy 😂. "The island is in view, we will arrive to the first stop in about a minute, first one to get off will be (Y/N)."
We have been on the stupid helicopter for about 35 minutes and instead of taking a short nap, I stayed awake because Whiskers told me that the pilot wasn't going to announce our arrival. I knew I shouldn't have listened to that devil of a man but sometimes I just can't read him.
If he wasn't such a freak of nature, I would've put a bullet in his head a looong time ago. But during our last encounter he was too quick for me, and instead of killing me he asked me to join him on his search for the cure.
I don't know if he really wanted my help or if he just wanted to keep messing with me. He did say that I am the most entertaining opponent he's ever had, that jerk. I bet he was smirking the whole time when he sent me that b*llshit message.
"Alright (Y/N), you're up."
You- "....I'm on it."
I unbuckled my seat belt and waited on the edge of the helicopter for my cue to jump off.
Nina- "Don't die on us now."
You- "Wish I could say the same for you..."
"(Y/N)...you're on..."
The helicopter then passes by a cliff and I jumped off just in time so I would land on the grass. I take a look at my surroundings and thought damn, I wouldn't want to spend the night here.

The place looked in pretty bad shape, almost like a tsunami had struck it or a zombie apocalypse, whichever fits in the description better.
I quickly made my way in between the buildings and used an infrared scope to help me see any living beings either walking around or hidden.
I kept advancing the deeper I go into the city. To me the whole thing seemed weird, I have never encountered an abandoned area that had no people or corpses lying around.
*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*
I looked down at my watch and saw a message.
"From what I have researched, there is a secret passage inside the library, find it and it will take you straight to the laboratory."
Of course.
From my experience it's either the church or the library, sometimes the city hall but then that meant traps, and lots of them.
