The Cure For Humanity (Albert Wesker x Reader)

Chapter 6

Its been about a week since that mission back on that island and so far, Wesker hasn't suspected a thing. I gave him not only the Byg Gwenwyn  sample but also a blood sample of the infected person (aka Tilly). So far no one has confronted me about the person that the blood came from so I guess I'm in the clear. 

Wesker hasn't sent me on any missions since so I've just stayed in my room, just napping and what not. Sometimes I would walk around the base to see the scientists at work or looking at experiments in tubes and watching them float. 

There are times that I feel like peeking at Wesker's lair to see what he's up to, but I don't want to risk getting caught so I just try to avoid him at all cost. I mean I have a watch that I just learned that I can't take off, but I am also thankful that Wesker can't see and/or hear through it. But sometimes I still can't help but feel that he is still watching my every move. 

I mean I don't feel like that NOW because I am in my room but once I step out, I feel it. Like its only a matter of time before I open my door and Wesker is right at the door frame. It hasn't happened during my stay here but I have a feeling it will happen, maybe not soon but you never know.

Either way today I am just comfortably resting on my bed in my undergarments. Not that its too hot or anything but I just took a shower and once I lie down, I'm done for the day.  

I never realized how relaxing it feels to just lie down in your bra and underwear while the cool air just hits you in the right places. I always thought the AC in the lair was too cold after a shower but I guess I was wrong.

It was probably around noon when I suddenly heard my watch go off.  

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP 

I look down at my watch and I was a bit baffled when I didn't see Wesker's name on the screen, but one of the scientists. Maybe because he was the only one that usually bugs me while I am either sleeping or relaxing.

I answered the call and saw one of the scientists on the screen, but one look at me and he immediately put his hand up like he is trying to cover my image.

You- "What's your deal? Am I really that ugly to you?"

Scientist- "Not that...but I didn't expect to see you still changing..."

I looked down and noticed that I am still in my undergarments. I quickly grabbed my blanket and covered my chest with it.

You- "I think you're good now."

The scientist still kept his hand up and I couldn't help but feel a bit offended.

You- "Geez, sorry I'm not as pretty as your wife."

Scientist- "Anywho....Wesker is asking his agents to report up."

You- "What for?"

Scientist- "He instructed me not to tell you why..."

You- "...dammit Whiskers..."

Scientist- "what was that?"

You- "nothing, mind your own damn business.."

Scientist- "Well then, anywho he wants you up here in 20 minutes."

You- "Fine."

Once the call disconnected I had this feeling that something bad is going to happen. I just grabbed a pair of sweats and just throw them on before I made my way to the door.

But when I opened the door...

Nina- "Are you serious?"

You- "Why are you so obsessed with me?"
