Roger looked at you as you left, your form disappearing into the night and he turned to the band.

"Roger, you comin or not?" Brian asked as they began walking in the other direction. He turned to see you another time before nodding and running up to catch them.

"Roger, she'll be there tomorrow" Ava teased "It's just one night away from her, can't you survive?"

"It's not that" Roger said, frustrated and shoved his hands in his jacket pocket. He wanted to walk you home, to say goodnight and he wanted to kiss you again. He walked with them till the burger joint as Ava told them about her life in Scotland. She'd moved there a few years ago for her career and Roger was glad she had. He had been with her for less than a year, and then they'd broken up. She was his last serious relationship and although he wasn't that affected by their breakup, she did have an impact on him. They entered the burger place and crammed into a booth. Since it was after hours, they wouldn't have to worry about being bothered by fans or the crowd. Roger sat next to Brian and as he expected, Ava slipped in next to him. He tried to shift away but since they were about seven people at a table for four, they were squeezed next to each other. They all ordered dinner and began talking about the band's progress to Ava. Roger missed you. He honestly wished you had been there next to him, instead of her and he thought back to how he had finally gotten to kiss you.

"Oh, fuck it" He had said and unable to resist you any longer, had moved in and kissed you. It was second nature to him, being with a girl, but somehow with you it had felt different. He had grabbed your waist, pulling you to him and lifted you up on the counter. Even though he was hurt, and had got in a fight because of you, all he wanted to do was kiss you. As if that would make it okay and take away the pain. When you'd moved away to work on his bruise and his lip, the only thing he could think about was how many different ways he could undress you and pull you into his lap. It was crazy, really. He'd never thought so much about a girl before. They usually always just gave in and he acted on it. You, on the other hand, were difficult. When he'd first met you, he was pretty sure he would despise you, what will all your sarcastic comments and jabs at him. You saw through him, and he hated that.

He'd never really thought about kissing you before, until he'd seen you drunk for the first time. The night he had made a bet with you and he saw you kissing another guy, Brandon his name had been, he'd felt something he barely did anymore- jealousy. He was walking you home and even though you annoyed the shit out of him, he couldn't help but appreciate how beautiful you really were-even when you were a drunken mess. That was weeks ago, and it had been a long time coming.

"Roger!" Mary said snapping him out of his thoughts.

"Wow, this girl really has an effect on you, doesn't she?" Ava asked. Her leg had moved during the conversation on top of Roger and he felt more uncomfortable by the minute. He thought back to how out of place you had felt at the bar. He was starting to feel the same way now.

"I thought she was a groupie honestly! I mean after all she's an employee, how could she be any fun?" Ava asked.

"Oh, don't say that. Y/N is amazing!" Freddie replied, already very tipsy "She's a great lawyer"

"A lawyer? You really went for the brains this time? Didn't expect that from you" Ava said, looking at Roger and his head hurt from her consistent talking.

"She's gorgeous too, though" Brian added and Roger shot him a look.

"Oh, hey she's all yours buddy! Just pointing out a fact" Brian said, lifting up his hands in defeat.

"Wow, you've really got it bad for her haven't you?" Ava asked Roger, in an extremely patronising way "Does she feel the same?"

"Why do you even care, Ava?" Roger asked, taking a drag of his cigarette.
