BELLA

"I'm listening." I said.

He held onto my hand. "Ok so. Yall need help with money. And I'm kind of lonely at my apartment. And I already help out a lot. So why don't I just move in here?" He asked wearily.

"Actually that's not a bad idea. You could have the spare room in the basement." I suggested. "Ok. That's great." He hugged me.

I just looked at him. I'm kind if scared to be honest. He is a gang leader. So my family could be in danger. "Sunshine I know what you're thinking about." He chuckled.

"I know you're scared because of your family. But I will but better locks, Get some of my guards to guard the house, and we will set rules for the kids. There is nothing to worry about. Yall are all my family. I wont let anything happen." He said softly.

"Ok. I feel better now." I said. "Great. Now let's east something. I know you must be starving." He chuckled.

A couple hours later, Jake left to pick up the kids. Meanwhile I was left home. So I blasted some George Strait and started cleaning.

"Do you love me? Do you wanna be my friend? And if you do? Well then dont be afraid to take me by the hand, if you want to. I think this is how love goes check yes or no." I sang along as I was sweeping.

This song brings back memories. In kindergarten I met my best friend Jakob. I called him Jakey though. He attempted to sing this song to me. Then he chased me across the monkey bars like in the song.

We climbed up the monkey bars and he fell off and broke his arm. On his cast I wrote yes. I really miss Jakey. He also called me sunshine. Jake reminds me of Jakey so much. Sometimes I feel like that's him.

But then i realise that Jakey disappeared. There is no way he could be back. And I'm scared to ask Jake. I do miss Jamey though. He was my first love. And I honestly might kind of love Jake too.

As I was dancing to that song, I saw flashes. I looked and saw that Jake, Eli, and Andy were all videoing me. "Stoppppp." I said as I dropped my broom. My face went red.

Everybody just laughed. "Yall stop laughing. Especially you Eli. Or I'll tell everyone what I heard you doing one day." I glared. He quickly shut up.

You see Eli recently hit puberty. One day we were home alone. I was walking past his room and heard his jerking off. I confronted him later and he was embarrassed.

"What did you hear?" Ryan asks. Andy and Jake started laughing. I guess they caught on. "Nothing sweetie. Why dont yall go swim. Andy and Eli can yall watch them swim. And make sure Aiden and Bailey and Ryan uses a float or floatie?" I asked.

"Sure. Kids go get on your bathingsuits." Eli commanded. Then all the kids went to their rooms. "So. What's for dinner?" Jake asked. "I was thinking chilli." I answered. His smiled grew big. I know that's his favorite.

"Now if you excuse me. I have to go clean the bathrooms." I said. "Ok. I'll finish the livingroom and kitchen."

"You're the best." "I know." I heard him say as I walked to the hall bathroom. I scrubbed the toilet, tub, and sink. I swept, mopped, and cleaned the mirror. I had to climb the counter to do that since I'm short.

I got up on the counter and stood on my knees. I was cleaning the mirror when my knee slipped from under me. I rolled off the counter and fell on the floor with a loud thud.

Ouch. It kicked my breath out of me. And now my back hurts. Great. "BELLA. BELLA WHAT HAPPENED?" I heard Jake yell as he ran up the stairs. He stopped in front of the bathroom.

"Did you fall?" He asked biting his lip trying not to laugh. "Yeah. I was cleaning the mirror." I giggled. "Are you hurt?" He asked clearly amused. "My back kind of hurts but that's it. Can you help me up?" I held out my arm.

He helped me up. Mg back popped and it quit hurting. "I'm sorry but that's funny." He started laughing. I flipped him the bird and walked to the other bathrooms and cleaned them. I then gathered all of the little kids dirty laundry.

"Here I'll help you with laundry." He said. We headed down to the basement. "I put the clothes in the washer while he folded the clothes that was in the dryer done drying. He put the clothes that needed to be hung up and put them on hangers. He then hung them on the clothes rack.

After about 45 minutes all the clothes were put away and the other clothes were now in the dryer. We went back upstairs.

"Well I guess I should start dinner. Its 5:30. They will be here at 6:30." I stated as I washed my hands. "I'll tell the kids to get out of the pool." He said and went outside.

I started making dinner then. I made a box of mac n cheese also because me and Kat only eat chilli if it has mac n cheese it it. We call it chilli mac. It might sound gross but its good.

All the kids were done showering and they were in the living room watching Landon's favorite movie, cars. He just loves tow mater. But Elijah got him hooked on it because that was Elijah's favorite movie when he was Landon's age.

Soon Bray and Kat got home. "Ok guys before we eat us adults have to talk so Eli and Andy, yall start making bowls." I said.

We all walked up to my room. "Ok guys I have a confession." Jake began. Then he told them everything that he told me. "Oh dude you're so bad ass." Kat and Bray both said at the same time. Jake just chuckled.

Then I explained the deal to them. "I think it's a great idea for him to move in." Kat said. "Yeah. You are already here everyday." Bray chuckled.

We then went back down to the kitchen. Andy said grace and we began eating.

Halfway through dinner, Jake stood up. "I have a question." He said. "What is it uncle jake?" Ryan asked. "How would yall like it if I moved in?" He asked. All the kids started screaming yayy.

"So I can move in?" He asked again. "Yesssss." All the little kids got up and ran to him. He picked Aiden. "What do you say buddy?" Jake looked at Aiden. "Yeahh." Aiden hugged Jake's neck.

And at that moment is when I knew that everything would get better soon.
