JAKE

We just got done shopping for costumes. I'm shocked Bella agreed to do the couples costume. I fell in love with this girl in kindergarten. And now I'm falling more and more every day. And I can't stop.

I'm planning on asking her to be my girlfriend on Halloween. We are taking the kids trick or treating. Before we leave I'll stand in front of the van holding a sign and Rose's and the sign will say, 'Will you be the Lilo to my stitch?' Then I will ask her to be my girlfriend.

We were all sitting down when Tiffany came up to us. I know that's not her name but I dont care.

"What are you doing here bitch?" She asked Bella. "Woah watch your language. We have kids at this table." Bella said. "No. I dont care. Anyways what the Fuck are you doing here?" Tiffany asked.

"Watch your language. I dont want my cousins go around copying those words. We are raising respectful children. Something your parents should have tried." Kat chimed in. We all laughed. Except Tiffany.

"Well I came here to talk to Jake's whore over here. Not the bitch of the county." Toffany spat.

"Now that's enough." I said as I stood up. "For 1. You don't cuss in front of kids that's so low to do. Even for you. And for 2. Dont attack my family like that. Now you better shut the heck up and watch what you say. I'm capable of more than you think. Now leave my family alone." I sat back down.

"Are you ok uncle Jake?" Eden asked. "Yeah I'm fine." I immediately softened when I looked at the kids. Tiffany ran away.

"Thanks for sticking up for us Jakey." Bella said. "Of course. I'd always stick up for family. Especially kitty and my sunshine." I chuckled. "Gosh I hate that name." Kat shook her head.

"What's bitch?" Asked Aiden. "And Fuck?" Bailey said. "Those are potty words. Dont say them anymore." Brayden said. "Ok." They both said.

After we finished lunch we went to random shops. We went to hibbetts since they have Braves stuff on sale because the season is almost over.

All of us got a new Braves hat and we bought the little kids new braves t-shirts. All of us older people got new Braves hoodies.

Then we went home. We got home at around 2 p.m. When we got home Bella changed clothes then I took her to work. Her and Kathryn still work on school days but not weekends. And Brayden now only works Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

After I dropped her off I went to the gang warehouse. "Hey boss." My second in command/ best friend Weston said. "Hey west. Any more information on Eden's parents?" I asked.

So I may or may not have gotten my gang to do research on Eden's parents. We need as much leverage on them that we can get. "Actually yeah. Follow me." He led me to the computer room.

"Look at this." He showed me something on the computer. "Wait so. They murdered a little boy?" I asked. "Not only a little boy, but Eden's little brother, their son. He is 2 years younger than Eden. This says that when he was a week old they strangled him. Eden probably doesnt even know. Then they took Eden to live with her grandma." West explained.

"How did you find out?" I asked very angrily. Who the hell would do that to their child? "Our gang asked around and found them. They inserted her parents with truth serum and asked them a bunch of questions." West said. "Ok. We will find them soon and threaten them. We will tell them if they dont leave the country and if they take Eden that we will tell the cops everything." I said.

"Ok. When are we going to do it?" He asked. "Tomorrow." I answered.

I soon left and went back to the diner to pick Bella up. She got in the passenger seat of my truck. It's getting too cold for my bike. "Hey sunshine how was work?" I asked. "It was terrible. What about the warehouse. Find any more information?" She asked

"Yes but I'll tell yall later. How was work bad?" I asked. "These older men kept flirting with me making me very uncomfortable. And I spilt 3 drinks." She said. "Awe I'm sorry sunshine." I put my hand on her thigh and rubbed circles on it.

I saw a blush creeping on her cheeks. It was so cute. She's adorable. I love it when she blushes. I love everything about her. I love her. But she can't know that yet.

We got home and she took a shower while I ordered a pizza. After that, we all ate dinner. "Mmmmmm. I love pizza." Elijah moaned. "Dude you're nasty for moaning over food." Bella said. "At least he's not moaning in his room." Andrew chuckled. "Yall shut up." Elijah's face turned red.

"What's moaning?" Ryan asked. "That's a bad word too." I said. "Ok." He said. We all just continued to eat. The kids all fell asleep in the livingroom. "I'll carry Eden to her room since she is next to me." I said as I picked her up. Everybody else picked up a kid too.

When I went to lay her in her bed she said, "Uncle jake." "I thought you were asleep." I said. "I just woke up. But are my parents going to take me?" She asked and started tearing up. I quickly sat next to her and hugged her. "Shhhh. Stop crying kiddo. They ain't going to take you. You will stay with us."

"But I heard yall talking about it." She cried harder. "We are not letting them take you. I promise. And has uncle Jake ever broke a promise?" I asked. "Nope." She giggled. "Excactly. I may mess a lot up. But I always keep my promises." I kissed her head.

"Goodnight kiddo." I turned out the lights. "Good night uncle Jake."

I sat down on the couch beside Bella. "What took you so long?" She asked. "Well. Eden woke up and asked me if her parents were going to take her. I told her no and she said that she heard us talking about it and she started crying. I promised her that they wouldn't take her." I quickly summed up.

"Oh my gosh." She said. Kat and Bray came downstairs.

"We need to talk." I said.
