Two Months Later: The other Avengers gather in the huge hanger bay waiting on Shea and Tony, a group message sent out for them all to gather, some looks half asleep, others are half asleep. Tony and Shea enter smiling and talking between themselves. Tony places his hands on Shea's shoulder and kisses her cheek. Shea moves away from the Avengers and towards the tarp covered Tempest, they wanted to do a big reveal in front of everyone. Shea, reaching the jet grabs the corner of the tarp and pulls, it slides free of the jet and the other Avengers smile and nod.
"Wow" Bucky states looking over the jet, Steve nods in agreement with his best friend.
"This is..." Natasha stops not finding the words. "I can't believe it"
"Girl did good, didn't she?" Tony asks them.
"Hell yeah she did" Sam agrees. "This is incredible"
"Took a little longer then I wanted" Shea admits moving back over to them. "But kinda wanted it to be perfect sooo"
"Well it is" Steve assures her.
"Do we get to have a look around?" Natasha asks, Shea nods and they pretty much run to their new jet, their new toy, it's new and they want to look, the novelty will wear off for them, but for Shea it won't. She built this, she made this, designed it, it's her baby, she will never bore of seeing the jet in all her glory.
"They're like giant kids" Tony mumbles flinging his arm over Shea's shoulder, she smiles and leans against him. "It really is incredible, Babe" he tells her warmly. "Way beyond anything I could ever think up"
"Alien brain" she teases slightly. "We think differently, see things differently"
"The force?" he asks, she nods and smiles sadly. "What's wrong?" he asks worried.
"I just...wish my parents could see it" she admits. "The Tempest...so many of the original blueprints, they came from their jet, the one they crashed in, I just feel like..."
"It's part of them" he offers, she nods. "I bet they'd be proud of you" he assures her, she smiles a little and pulls him closer to kiss him.
..........
On the jet Shea takes her pilots seat and smiles looking around, she actually has really outdone herself. Tony smiles setting his hand on Shea's shoulder, she looks up at him, he offers her a small wink and she smiles back at him, this is the most relaxed he's seen her since she joined them, and it's because she's flying, he leans closer and kisses her warmly before he lets her go back to piloting. The other avengers are busy checking out the retrofits, Bucky testing out his bunk, just for him and Selene, he bounces a little on it and looks to the vampire who smirks back at him. Silly wolf. Natasha nods impressed with hers and Steve's buck. Those that are paired have shared bunks that can be split if needs be, each one decorated just for them, with curtains to give some privacy.
"This stuff's great" Clint states picking up a sucker arrow and smirking. "It's like she read our minds...." Sam chuckles a little and leaves the room, she hadn't, she could have but she she didn't. Sam enters the bridge and smiles.
"Hey" Sam greets Shea as she looks over the console in front of her, checking the systems.
"How's it going?" she asks.
"They love it" he answers standing next to her, Shea glances back as the others start to filter out onto the bridge.
"What do you think?" Shea asks as the Avengers.
"It's great, Shea" Steve answers. "You really outdid yourself"
"I should hope so" Tony grumbles. "Considering how much it co.." he draws off noting Shea's look. "Not that much" he corrects with a smile. "Love you" he mumbles, she smiles and pats his arm.
