Peter woke up with a start, scanning the room quickly, forgetting that his brothers were gone. Loki and Bucky had already been moved out. Peter had a longer sentence.
He sighed. His brothers were the only thing keeping him sane in that hole. They had talked for hours, trying to remember everything. Some things were still confusing, but they had been making progress.
And then Loki got sent for reconditioning, taking his memories.
Soon after, Bucky was taken too.
Peter was left alone in his cell, waiting for his family.
He didn't know if they would even remember him afterwards.
Probably not.
--------------
Months passed, and somehow he managed to escape.
He had no idea how, but the base had gone offline.
The doors were left open, and everyone was gone.
Which left him to make his way to safety.
No one wanted to take him in.
Who would?
A ragged teen with haunted eyes.
------------
He made it to New York, to avengers tower. He had a vague memory of someone telling him that they could help.
That was why he found himself at the front doors of the building, shivering in the freezing rain.
Luck was on his side that day, because he caught the eye of Steve Rogers.
"Hey kid. Something wrong?" The soldier asked.
Peter nodded quickly. "I need help."
The soldier studied him. "With?"
The teenager shivered. "Finding my brothers."
Steve nodded slowly. "Okay. Any idea where they are?"
Peter looked down. "Hydra."
Steve's face paled. "I think you need to come inside."
Peter followed him in, through the reception area, and into a small elevator.
He followed as Steve introduced him to Natasha, who looked at him with barely concealed worry.
He followed when Steve took him to Tony Stark, who studied him, as if gauging the threat.
He followed when Steve introduced him to Clint, who gave him a friendly smile.
But he stopped when he saw a familiar dark haired man. With a metal arm.
The breath rushed out of his lungs, and Steve turned to look, frowning.
"You okay kid?"
His mouth could barely form the word. "B-Bucky?"
Steve tilted his head. Then he turned. "Hey Bucky!"
-------------
Bucky was sitting at the bar, a cup of water in front of him, along with eggs and toast.
Strangely, he had no appetite.
Then he heard Steve call from behind him. "Hey Bucky!"
He turned around, not expecting to be met with the scared face of...
"Pete?"
His younger brother was there. Safe.
He dropped down, hugging the teenager tightly.
Peter buried his face in Bucky's shoulder, sobbing.
Bucky held him close, rocking back and forth.
"I was so worried."
---------
Peter breathed in, inhaling the scent of Bucky's shirt.
"How did you get out?"
Bucky laughed softly. "I didn't. I got rescued."
Peter pulled back, wiping his eyes. "Did you see Loki?"
Bucky sighed. "He's- gone."
Peters eyes welled up. "But..."
Bucky hugged him again, running his fingers through the teenagers hair.
"I know. I miss him too."

Sorry. The ending was probably crappy, but I kinda lost motivation partway through it.
Oops.
