"There's something I need to tell you Rae..." Trina said as we walked into the grocery store.

She was quiet the whole ride there, so I knew it was something eating at her.

"What's up?" I said, looking down my list of things to get.

"I'm pregnant...." She pulled out her phone and showed me the picture of her pregnancy test.

My mouth dropped!

"Shut up! Shut the fuck up! WHAT!?!"

Trina started getting teary eyed.

"Oh come on Trina. Not in here!" I said, pulling her close to me.

"It's Mill baby..."

"I KNEW IT!" I said loudly. People were staring.

I tried to whisper as we kept walking.

"I knew it!!!! So, what are you gonna' do!?" Trina wasn't the best at making choices. I had to stay on her.

"I don't know. He already has a baby on the way by some spanish bitch named Sisi. I don't need that type of drama right now Rae." Trina shook her head.

"Well when the fuck did this happen?" I started putting cereal in my cart.

Trina sighed.

"Girl, it was like last month. When I say he fucked the life out of me. Bitch, my whole wig slid off. I ain't never have no dick like what he was giving. And we had sex more than once. We was drunk, he was high as shit. I should have known, but you know I love me a big boy. And Mill is fine as hell!" She started tearing up again.

"Trina, it's okay. You know I'm your biggest supporter. I know it's early but... Can we look at some baby clothes?" That made her laugh, I had to bring light to the situation.

She wiped her eyes and took a deep breath.

"What's up with you and Simon?"

"Fuck him. That's all and that's it... He tried coming by a couple days ago to explain himself, I told him the friendship we had is done." Simon had me fucked up.

"That really sucks man. Simon was the homie." Trina said adding her items in the cart.

"It is what it is... But, there is this new guy at my job who's been checking me. He gave me his number, I haven't called yet."

"Oooh, name?"

"Travis, Travis Dylan..." I made sure to add the last name because Trina knew everybody.

"Never heard of him. What's he like?"

"Nice... Funny, charming, legally seperated from his wife..." I mumbled.

Trina's face changed.

"Legally seperated? So he's still married?"

"No he's seperated..."

"No, he's still married. The divorce isn't finalized. He's still hitting that from a distance in other words." Trina stared me down.

I tried to defend Travis to the end but she wasn't having that.

"No he's not Trina. He said they haven't been together in four months..."

She rolled her eyes.

"Okay Rae. Just be careful, because it sounds like that nigga is just bored right now. I wouldn't mess with his ass 'til I know he signed them damn papers!" We kept walking.

Even though Trina had a point, I wasn't tripping. I mean, we were just being casual anyway... There was nothing I felt the need to worry about.

I hesitated again before I called Travis.
