I cooked us up a real fly dinner for tonight. Steak, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, biscuits... My mouth watered as I finished up everything before Travis came over. The doorbell rang.
"Here goes nothing..." I said to myself, adjusting my hair in the hallway mirror.
"Raelyn... How are you?" Travis said, greeting me with a kiss.
Tuh, how was I? I was HOT! I had to play it calm, I didn't need travis knowing that I was following him. He'd really think I was crazy!
"I'm okay... Long day."
"Food smells good... I love a woman that can cook." He smirked as he took his jacket off.
I noticed his ring was off his finger. It still didn't justify what I had saw earlier.
"Have a seat." I told him as I brought him his plate.
We sat at the dinner table in silence for a moment, so I decided to break the ice.
"How was your day?" I was ready to read the lie in his body language.
He was hesistant to respond at first, but I wasn't with the bullshit. It was eating away at me that I couldn't say what I wanted to say.
"It was... Was very interesting to say the least..." He took a sip of wine.
"How so?" I had a come back for everything.
He cleared his throat.
"Found out some surprising information..."
"Information like what?" I smiled a crooked smile.
I knew he was probably thinking I was some type of crazy bitch, and honestly... I was. I didn't like to share what was mine, especially when you basically tell me what you had is over.
"Are you okay Rae?" His face was flustered.
"I'm fine. Just wondering why you won't answer my question." He got silent again.
Fuck it! It was time to get straight to the point.
"I don't share." I said, moving closer to him with the knife in my hand.
Before I could say anything else he grabbed my hand causing me to drop the knife and he grabbed my neck. I could feel my heart beating outside of my chest.
"Oh yeah?" Travis said in a sexual tone.
He yoked me up against the wall and oddly, I was turned on by it. This was the first time I had seen him snap out like that.... But I liked it.
"Say my name." He said as he gripped my throat harder.
I softly moaned it. He released me and began kissing on my neck, picking me up against the wall. He didn't hesitate to pull my pants down and started bouncing me up and down.
"Oh my... Oh my god. Tr-.. Travis..." I moaned loudly as he kept digging deeper.
I felt my nails scratch the tattoo on his back as he laid me across the kitchen table, food went every where. The way he was drilling me, you would of thought he was tryna' make up for an apology he never gave. This was the type of sex I needed.
"Travis, Travis wait... My phone is going off." I said to him as I heard my phone vibrate.
He went to hand me my phone, and raised his eyebrow.
"Who's Simon?" He questioned.
I froze up. I couldn't tell him what Simon really was to me. More than my best friend, he was meant to be my lover.
