soul searching

watch me search through the stars
finding my way to get on the top charts
without ruining my heart's desire
and not adding oil to the burning fire

I can see through this complex universe
and I acknowledge that it's possible to be worse,
but i'm having trouble finding who I aspire to be
and the life with the person i'd like to meet

if you see me, down the road
i'm in a soul searching kind of mode
but let me acquire my own wish to fly.
