seeing you
makes that permanent stain wash away
into its most minimal remains
talking to you
makes my vaulted words open up
and leave my mind so smoothly
thinking about you
makes me wonder about myself
and if i'm really the person i was before
knowing you
makes me feel as though i can regain the hope
that was buried before i could even save it
loving you
makes me feel as though
i can thrive once more
maybe if you're here
i can stop searching for something
that makes me stop forever
and here i present to you
my sincere smile.
