My Last Wish

It's Back Again

" Hey are you okay" my brother asks on our way to the party."Yeah Im fine" I said giving him a smile, but I'm not okay. What am I going to tell Austin that I kissed my ex boyfriend who I'm still in love with. We first went to eat at John's since none of us didn't eat at home and the burgers at John's are the best. And now we are going to the party at 9:00pm. We were two blocks away and you started to hear the loud music and I'm not exaggerating, the music is pretty loud. Matthew parked the car and headed towards Lesly's house. Like every teenage party, you see people drinking, dancing, and some are just chilling.

"Want a drink" he asked me and Johnny. "Sure" we both say and sat to the nearest couch and I sat in one end while he sat in the other. My brother hands us the drinks and I said "Well see you guys later and don't drink a lot please cause I don't want to deal with two drunk "men" and drive them back home".  I go looking for Austin and I take a golpe of the beer because I still don't know what to tell him. But should I even tell him?? I don't know, but I search for him in the back yard, in the dancing floor, kitchen. I couldn't find him. I see Wes and I ask " have you seen Austin" . "Yeah he was here but I don't know where he is though" he said. I guess I'll look up stairs.

I open the first door and no one was there. So I open the second one and third one. Then I opened the 4th door and... I couldn't believe my eyes. I was in shock nothing came out but my eyes started to water up. " I can explain" Austin said as he saw me. And again nothing came out of my mouth, so I just left while he was pulling his pants up. I get downstairs and rushed through the crowd. And I accidentally bumped into someone. "Sorry I'm just in a rush" I said as I keep on walking but that person hold my wrist. "Is everything okay" that person said so I looked up and it was Johnny. I didn't reply and just kept on walking. I didn't realize he was following me until I was outside trying to breath.

"Hey take a deep breath" Johnny said as he rubs my arms to calm me down. "Can you please take me home" I said feeling I'm going to break down crying. "Zayeln please let me explain" Austin said coming towards us and then sees me with Johnny. "No Austin leave me alone and you don't have to explain anything" I said turning around to face him. "You know what... your right I don't have to explain because this is your fault" he replied angry. "My FAULT" I said getting all these mixed up emotions.
"Yes, your fault for going with this  dude who You never mentioned during our relationship" he said furious. "You should leave" Johnny said.

"Hey don't get into this, this is between me and Zaylen" Austin replied furious and getting closer to us.

"You know what both of you just leave" I said because I felt like I couldn't breathe.

"Zaylen please let me explain" Austin repeats himself.

"I'm not joking, please .... leave me...." I said losing my balance and everything just goes black.

"Zaylen" I hear someone call my name. "Zaylen, can you hear me" it repeats themself. I start to open my eyes and I see a bright light hearing the engine of the car and this paramedic. "Stay with me" he said.

"Zaylen how are you feeling" the doctor asked as I managed to open my eyes. "I'm feeling better" I reply  blinking multiple times trying to strength my eyes.

"Do you have my diagnose" I go straight forward. "Yes, but I'd rather tell your parents especially in the state your in" Dr. shepherd said. "It's okay I would actually like to tell them myself" I said.

"Okay, well unfortunately I have some bad news" he said. "Your cancer came back which explains your fainting and the bruises you have" he said. "We will go through the same treatment and hope for the best or we could do something else" he said. "Do you have any questions" he said finishing what he had to say.

"No, umm can you tell them I only want to see Wesley" I said. I'm not in the mood of saying anything or argue with anyone. I just want to sit and enjoy the silence.

"Hey" Wesley said entering the room. "Hey" I said clearing my tears and making him room in my bed.
"So, umm my cancer came back" I tell him. I see him almost tear up so I grab his hand. "And how do you feel about this" he asked.

"Umm I don't know. I feel angry, sad, confused. I have all of these mixed up emotions. And then I saw Austin cheat on me" I tell him. I had to get this off my chest at least with someone who won't burst out to kill Austin. "He what" he said almost jumping out of bed.

"It's okay though" giving him a signal to lay back down "at first I was sad and angry, but now I'm like who cares I was the one who cheated on him first right" I said.

"Do you want to bring them in the room" Wes asked.

"Yeah and don't tell them anything" I tell him not wanting him to tell Matthew since he will have to go back to Canada for this thing he told me, and I don't want him to not go and worry about me. "But I'm not going to tell Mathew" I said before he would go bring them in.

"Wait what, you have to tell him Zaylen" he said sitting by the edge of the bed.

"He has this important thing in Canada next week and I don't want him to get worry and not go" I said trying not to make eye contact with him. "But that's why you have to tell him. He needs to be here with you, and he didn't know last time. Promise me you will tell him." He said but I stayed in silence.

"Zaylen promise me" he repeated him. "Okay I promise" I said as he walked out of the room.

"Hey" Matthew and Johnny said as they entered the room. "Hey" I said giving them a signal to sit be the two edges of the bed. They both sit down, one in each side while Wesley sat in the couch next to the window.

"I need to tell you guys something about this situation" I said. I don't think I'll tell them. My brother will kill me for not telling him about the first time. Uhhh think fast Zaylen think fast.

"Okay tell us"Matthew said getting in a comfortable position. "Okay so" i began and looked at Johnny and then Wes.

"I will have to stay for a week at the hospital" I said without thinking and it felt like I said it fast. "Zaylen tell them the truth" Wesley said looking at directly.
