Ashton and I decided to be together again. Why not?
I walked downstairs as I got ready for school. I ate my breakfast and went off. As I opened the van, I saw Ashton on his bike. He waved at me before I started driving.
"Hey baby cakes!" Ashton yelled. "Had a good morning, Eleanor? Want me to pass by a coffee shop before school?"
I like him for being like those things. But I cannot be with him this morning, since I had to pass by Michael's house. "No, sorry."
"It's okay!" Ashton grinned as he disappeared. I passed by Michael's, as usual. He entered inside with a different hair color.
"Do you even like me in red?" He asked while cautiously putting gel on his hair.
I laughed and jokingly said, "no"
"Aw" He pouted as he rested his chin on his palm, like a grumpy five year old.
"Don't worry, idiot." I said as I kissed his forehead. Doing things like these are very normal to us. "I fucking love it."

three weeks
My grandmother has been acting really weird, like she was sick or something but she won't tell why. I was the only family member who can help her. I kissed her forehead as she drifted to sleep and I went for a walk with Michael.
"She acted like that?" He asked while we were walking through the park around 2 am. It was very cold, I shivered and crossed my arms around my chest.
"Yeah" I sighed. "Wish I could help bu-"
"Watch your way, idiot," Michael interrupted as he pushed me to the sidewalk from the moving truck. "So, you wished you can help?"
"Stuff like that."
"Why don't you ask her?" he suggested.
"I tried." I said, letting out another groan. "She said she's fine an-"
my phone rang.
It was from grandma. I know it's weird that old people like her would know how to use a phone or something. Why would she call at this time?
"Hello?"
"where the hell are you, Eleanor?" She almost yelled. I looked at Michael and he let out a small laugh.
"I-I'm sorry" I sighed.
"Ouch" She whined.
"Why?"
"M-my chest h-hurts"
"I'll be back" I said, hanging up my phone. We were a block away from my house. I told Michael what happened and rushed home. I was getting really anxious as we stopped infront of the house. I opened the gate and barged inside.
She was still right beside the telephone. She was having chest pains, Maybe. Michael stole the phone away from her and called the ambulance.
"I'll go get a glass of water, wait" I told her and went to the kitchen. I was crying. I whiped my eyes and went back to see her.
"The ambulance's right outside, El." Michael said and opened the door. They entered inside with a stretcher and layed grandma there.

"Are you her relative?" The doctor asked Michael. He just stared blankly and pointed me
"It's actually me." I convinced. We were standing outside her room. "What's wrong? Is she having heart problems?"
"Yes"
