Adalia - POV
I mean, I did have a breakdown but that was because these idiots at my darn school did not shut up. I wish Nate would have stepped in but what could he have done.
He should've just let me cry and leave me there. But he didn't choose that, he actually decided to break the situation down.
I did believe those words when he said he cared about me.
Anyways, we were walking home from school. We still haven't really decided on what we're gonna do this weekend, but so far we only planned on going to Andrew's house later on.
Somehow I felt force push me into Nate's chest. I snapped out of it.
"Sorry, you were going to walk into that pole." He points to it.
"Oh, thanks."
We continue walking and I felt my hand join in with his. I looked at him and smiled.
We heard a voice behind us.
"Hey, guys! Wait up!"
We turn around and see Andrew running to us. He quickly lets go of my hand.
"Hey!" I yell.
"Hi!!" He yells back.
Finally he catches up to us.
"You guys walk so fast." Andrew says.
"Where are you headed?" Nate asks Andrew.
"Subway."
"You're obsessed." I say.
"Shhh."
I laugh.
"Are we still going to my house tonight?" Andrew asks.
"Yep." Nate and I say.
"Cool. Okay see you guys later, I gotta take the short cut." Andrew says.
"Okay, see ya." We wave at him who stopped at the stop sign.
"Andrew! You can go!" Nate yells.
"Right!"
"He's an idiot." I say laughing.
"He is."
We joined our hands together again. But we got to that one spot that's right between our houses.
"So, I'll see you tonight." Nate says.
"I'll see you tonight."
We laugh and went the opposite way to our houses. I walk in my door and my dad's not here. Oh wait, he's probably at work.
There was some money on the table for me. I take it and keep it in my hand.
I go upstairs and change into a white t-shirt and sweatpants. I also put my pullover gray sweater on. I love this thing.
I grab my other bag and fill it with my tablet, phone charger, tablet charger, headphones, and other things that I need.
I walk out of the house and lock the door. A car pulled up on the street.
They roll the window down and it reveals Nate.
"Do you need a ride? Andrew's house is kinda far."
"Sure, thanks."
"No problem."
I hop in the car.
"She's very pretty. Is that your girlfriend?" His mom asks.
