Aiden and I walked to our first class and wales in. As we walked in, something sweet hit my nose. I shot a glance at Aiden and he nodded ever so slightly. He smelt it also. We walked over to the teacher and handed him out slip.
"You must be new students! My name is Mr. Turner. Amara? Why don't you sit by Alice Cullen. And Aiden? Why don't you sit by Jessica Stanley." Mr. Turner said. I nodded and walked over to the girl that Mr. Turner pointed out.
Aiden went to sit by the Stanley girl. The sweet scent surrounded Alice. I took in her features and noticed she looked pixie-like. Alice moves her stuff off the desk that was next to her and smiled at me. "Hi! My name's Alice. And I know we are going to be great friends." Alice said to me.
I smiled at this and nodded. "My name is Amara and it's nice to meet you." I said to her. Alice stuck out her hand and I shook it. I took note that her hand was very cold and her eyes were a strange color. The cold didn't bother me though, I loved the cold.
I turned my attention to the front and started to write down what was on the board. I used my hearing and listened to that Stanley girl try to flirt with Aiden. "So... I was wondering if you wanted to hang out after school?" She said in a suggestive tone.
I had to hold back a growl as I was writing. "I've got a lot on my plate right now and I don't need anything else to distract me." Aiden said. I almost laughed out loud when I heard this. "Would you like to sit with me and my family at lunch, today?" Alice Asked.
"I would have to see if my brother's fine with it." I said to her. Alice smiled and it made me want to smile. We got back to work and I listened to the lesson. "Why do you want to hang out with a slut of a sister, anyway?" Jessica said to Aiden.
The pencil in my hand broke from the sudden force that I put on it. My eyes glowed red with my anger. Aiden's eyes snapped over to me and he could tell by my posture that I was mad. "Don't ever talk about my sister like that again. If you do, we are going to have problems, bitch." Aiden snarled at her.
The bell rang and I quickly grabbed my stuff. I sent a small smile to Alice and I walked over to Aiden. "You heard that?" He asked me. I nodded and sent a glare at Jessica. "Just ignore her. I could smell the lust coming off of her in waves." Aiden said.
I nodded slightly at this and headed to our next class, English. We walked in and the sweet scent hit us again. "Hello! You must be the Hale siblings! My name is Mrs. Davenport." The teacher greeted us. We both smiled and handed her our papers.
"Bella. Why don't you move back a couple of chairs so Amara can sit next to Edward to catch up. Aiden will sit next to you." Mrs Davenport said. Both me and Aiden could smell anger and jealousy coming off of the girl named Bella.
I smiled slightly at the bronze haired boy. I walked to the now empty seat next to him and sat down. "Hello. My name is Amara. I'm sorry for displacing your girlfriend." I said to the him. Edward turned to look at me and then he froze.
Our eyes met and neither of us could look away. His gold ones looked into my violet ones and I felt something pull at my heart. "I'm Edward Cullen, and it's fine. I'm glad I can help you catch up." Edward said to me with a crooked smile. I gave him my signature smirk and went back to the notes.
