Chapter Three: Battle of the Great Apes

Well, let me start off with a huge thanks for 103 reads. I started this story thinking that it wouldn't be able to reach anything higher than 50 reads, but you guys have proven me wrong. Thanks to all of you. Without further ado, let's get this started.

3rd Person POV:

As Goku lies on the ground, passed out from exhaustion, the two Great Apes are still duking it out, destroying the landscape in which they battle. The surrounding areas violently quake as Zetsuro and Vegeta punch and kick each other in their massive forms. Nearby valleys and ravines crumble and collapse from the tempestuous battle (A/N: Tempestuous means that it's not calm or controlled).

Zetsuro grabs Vegeta and picks him up by the throat. Vegeta struggles, trying his absolute hardest to break free from his grip, but he unable to escape from Zetsuro, who then choke slams him into the ground with his might.

"D-Damn it," Vegeta thought. "How the hell is he so strong!?"

Vegeta, who was heavily damaged from the impact, got back up and swiftly punched Zetsuro in his face.

King Kai's POV:

"There were only supposed to two new saiyans, not three," I say to myself. "Well, at least he's not an enemy. Although, he is a Great Ape, which makes him lose all sense of who he is and what he's doing. I fear that he may become a danger to the people of earth."

Goku's POV:

I wince and groan in pain as I stand up to see Vegeta getting pummeled into mountains and boulders.

"Goku! Are you alright? You need to bring Zetsuro back into his senses! If you don't, he may destroy the earth!" King Kai says telepathically.

"Okay, King Kai, but I need more energy. I've used most of it just using Kaioken," I tell him. "Otherwise, I'm not going to able to put a scratch on him."

"Just use the Spirit Bomb, Goku! Now!"

"A-Are you sure? I haven't had a lot of practice with it, so it might not work!"

"Just trust me! It will work!"

"Alright, King Kai."

I fly up into the air and raise my hands to the sky, drawing energy from the plants and animals of the earth. I look up at the giant ball of energy, but it still isn't big enough.

"Goku, ask the people of earth to give you some power, Goku!" I hear Krillin shout.

"Yeah, Goku! That might just give you the energy you need!" King Kai adds on.

"Okayn here goes!" I say. "People of earth, listen up! There is an enemy that threatens the safety of the planet! I can beat him, but I need all of you to lend me some of your energy! Every man, woman, and child! Just raise your hands to the sky give it to me!"

3rd Person POV:

Citizens all around the planet look around in confusion, but as soon as the children start raising their hands, everyone else starts doing the same.

Goku takes a look at the sheer size of the energy ball, finally having enough power to stop the chaos that Zetsuro and Vegeta had caused. Without a second thought, he lauches the Spirit Bomb into the two giant apes.

When the dust and smoke clears, Goku sees an unconscious Zetsuro, who took more damage from the attack, laying face down on the ground, whereas Vegeta, who took far less damage, was still still standing in his Great Ape form.

"Gohan, Krillin! Move Zetsuro out of the way or Vegeta could step on him and kill him!" He yelled. The other two fighters did as he said and moved the saiyan warrior out of the way.
