After the Z Fighters followed Shin to Babidi's ship, Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, and Zetsuro went aboard the ship with the Supreme Kai. They quickly disposed of Babidi's men, but Babidi easily sensed Vegeta's mental conflict. Vegeta had evil in his heart, which allowed Babidi to control Vegeta.
"Hahaha! HAHAHAHAHA!" Vegeta laughed like a madman. "NOW, KAKAROT, IT'S TIME WE FINALLY HAD OUR REMATCH! TRANSPORT US BACK TO THE WORLD MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT ARENA!"
Goku was fuming with rage.
"Why would you let that bastard control you like that?! YOU'RE BETTER THAN THIS!" Goku shouted.
"You think I'd let that slimy little punk-ass bastard control me? ME!? NO!I AM IN CONTROL!" Vegeta yelled, launching a blast at a crowd of innocent people, killing them. "And now, I can return to the way I was before! A prideful Saiyan Elite, a man who wasn't held back by such meaningless things as family!"
"So you'd contribute toward the resurrection of that monster, and let Trunks, and your darling Bulma die, all because you wanted to be bad again!? YOU'RE SUCH A SELFISH, SELF-ABSORBED BASTARD! YOU MAKE ME SICK!" Goku exclaimed furiously.
"Hahahahaha! Don't make me laugh, Kakarot! You're no better than myself! How many times have you caused some sort of backlash from your past mistakes?! YOU are the reason the Androids exist! YOU are the reason Cell almost destroyed the planet! If it weren't for you, half of the people we've fought wouldn't even have hated us! You think you're a savior... BUT YOU'VE CAUSED MORE COLLATERAL DAMAGE THAN ALL OF OUR FOES COMBINED! YOU MAKE ME SICK, KAKAROT! AND NOW, I'LL END THIS CYCLE OF DESTRUCTION RIGHT HERE AND RIGHT NOW!"
Goku knew that Vegeta was right, but that didn't matter to him now. For now, he was focused to beat Vegeta, and put an end to his madness. Goku powered up.
Ignore the dialogue between Babidi, Buu, and Goku.
"Damn you, Kakarot! I knew it! You've been holding back! You always have been! I'LL TEACH YOU A LESSON YOU WON'T EVER FORGET! NEVER MAKE A MOCKERY OUT OF ME!!!!" Vegeta yelled, then began powering up as well.
For a long time, the battle was one-sided, but Goku seemed to be getting weaker. The drain was too great without his tail.
Meanwhile, the energy output from their fight was more than enough to awaken the Majin terror. Zetsuro and Gohan sensed this, thus attempting to destroy Buu before he could awaken. Eventually the egg thing was broken, and the two Z-Warriors thought they won, as did Dabura and Babidi. Suddenly, a pink steam above them condensed, forming into the childish monster known as Majin Buu.
"Fuck! We've got to do something about th- AGGHHHH!" Buu cut Zetsuro off with a devastating kick. Zetsuro was taken off-guard, and he was pissed off. "You bastard! You think we're some sort of joke?!"
Buu laughed childishly.
"He acts like a child, but he's dangerous." Shin said.
"It's such a shame," said Babidi, "Buu never reached full power. But this is great! Even without his full potential, he's driving you puny worms into the ground! I can't wait 'til he gets to full power! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
"TOO BAD, THAT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN!" Gohan declared. "KAME-!"
"SLAUGHTER-" Zetsuro joined Gohan, both of them charging up their respective ki blasts.
