Heyyy there guys!
Sorry I've been gone for months. But my birthday was two days ago, so here's an update. Without further ado, let's get started.
Zetsuro's POV:
The lavender-haired boy explained that he needed to speak with me and Kakarot in private, so we walked away from the rest of the group.
"So what's your name, kid?" I asked him.
"My name is Trunks, and I'm from the future." He says.
After about 40 seconds of laughter, I managed to speak again.
"What's next, are you gonna tell us that Bulma and Veggie are your folks?" I joked, trying not to laugh.
His cheeks turned a bright shade of red.
I started laughing hysterically at this. I mean, who woulda thought that Bulma would fuck Vegeta, of all the people it could've been.
"Holy shit, that's rich." I laughed.
"Shut up!"
"Why's that so funny?" Kakarot asked, dumbfounded.
"Anyway, if we're done joking around, I'd like to get down to business," Trunks said. "In 3 years on May 12th at 10:00 AM, a horribly destructive duo will show up on an island 9 miles Southwest of South City."
"I'm listening." Kakarot says.
"They have dreadful power, even by our standards." Trunks continues. "They're monsters, Goku! That's the best way I know to describe them."
"Wow, it's that bad, huh?" I asked Trunks.
"Yeah, and it gets worse." He says looking distraught.
"You may continue." I say.
"Once this pair shows up, the Earth and everything you know will be gone for good." He said.
"What's the deal? Are they aliens?" I ask.
"No, they're both Androids created right here on Earth. Their creator is Dr. Gero, the mastermind behind the old Red Ribbon Army."
He looks at Kakarot.
"Do you remember?"
Kakarot looked at him and said, "Yeah! I defeated them!"
Meanwhile......
Third Person POV:
"Gee, for two guys who just met they sure do have a lot to talk about!" said Bulma.
"But hey, talking's not bad," Krillin responded. "It's a helluva lot better than fighting."
Gohan then says, "Well, at least he put his sword away."
Back with the Trio de Saiyans...
"No way! Same guy? Wow!" Goku said.
"That's the guy." Replied Trunks.
"But how? He lived?"
"Thanks to you. Yes, that's one battle you're going to wish you fought to the very end."
Goku looks down remorsefully. Zetsuro also showed a glimpse of remorse, wishing that he would have been there to finish what Goku couldn't.
"Look, I'm sorry to say that, Goku. I know that you're a good person, but letting Gero escape was a mistake that will come back to haunt you and everyone you know. He's probably working on those monsters as we speak. I'm not sure where his laboratory is located. If I knew, I'd be paying him a visit instead of you."
"So what are these sadistic fiends like anyway?" Zetsuro asked Trunks.
"It's hard to describe these creatures. There unlike anyone you've ever faced before. No one even comes close to rivaling the technology that gave them life. It's mind-boggling how strong they are."
"So what's his plan?" Goku asked
"Yeah, what's Dr. Gero trying to accomplish with them?" Zetsuro added.
Trunks then continued, "No one really knows. The moment those bastards were able to think for themselves, they rebelled, and they've had their own twisted, merciless agenda ever since. There is no rhyme or reason to what they do. They're machines of destruction. They're murderers! Their first act after birth? They turned on their own creator, Dr. Gero himself."
Trunks paused for a moment, then continued.
"These Androids are ruthless. They delight in causing pain and chaos. Living on Earth in my time is a damn nightmare. Always running and hiding and looking for some way to get out alive."
There was another short pause.
"Gosh, you defeated Frieza in a flash, yet from what you're saying, these Androids are stronger than you!" Goku spoke.
"Yeah, for sure. They love to hunt me down. What's worse, it's two versus one, so there's not much I can do except run for my life." Trunks said.
"What about the others?" Zetsuro asked. "They aren't helping you?"
"They can't. They're all dead. In the fight three years from now, my father, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, and even Piccolo are all killed. Only Gohan manages to survive. He becomes my master, teaching all I know, but even he died four years ago. And with the death of Piccolo, the Dragon Balls disappear and it's no longer possible to bring anyone back to life. The future where I live has become a living nightmare thanks to the androids, who take time and pleasure in slowly but surely wiping out all life."
Zetsuro's POV:
"So what about me?" I asked.
"Huh?" Trunks responded.
"You didn't mention me. What happens to me?" I reiterated.
"Well, you see, in my time you're in critical condition. You've been in a coma ever since the Androids attacked. I have no idea why you're not awake yet, but I assume that it's because we lost Goku. He dies of a Heart Virus before the Androids appear. From what I've deduced, the emotional strain was too much for you to handle. When Goku died, you went on a rampage. You almost killed one of the Androids, but the other got the drop on you. You nearly died, but Mom got there in time to save you."
"So, long story short, I'm alive, but useless?"
"Yep, pretty much. Anyway, I'm gonna give you Goku's medicine. Don't forget to give it to him. We can't afford to lose either of you."
He then handed the medicine to me, which I immediately stashed away.
"Well, I've got to go get back home, but I'll be back when they arrive. See you guys in three years." He said, bidding us farewell.
"See ya!" Kakarot and I say.
He then hops into his Time Machine and flies off.
After he left, me and Kakarot walked back to the rest of the group. I was about to explain the threat of the Android menace, but apparently, Big Green overheard us talking, so he explained it for us.
And that's a wrap for this Chapter. I know it's not incredibly long, but it's way longer than the last.
I want to make an announcement. For a while I've been thinking of how I'd add female Turles into the story, and now I've figured it out. I won't go into detail, but long story short, she's gonna be added in the next chapter as a love interest for Zetsuro. Don't expect any sex scenes or anything. There will be romantic scenes, but I won't do lemons, because of 3 factors.
1. I suck at writing them.
2. There may or may not be underage readers who read my book.
3. Regardless of whether or not there are underage readers, I will not risk getting reported.
