The day of him leaving to Italy is today. You know you're going to miss him. "I love you. Safe flight, boy." You said and hug him. He gives you a light kiss on the lips.
You watch him go and he gives you a final wave with a smile on his face before heading into the airplane.
"Damn it. He's just too cute." You said to yourself. You decided to head back home right away. But, then, you got a text from Corbyn. "Faye. Let's hang out!"
Corbyn is one of your co-worker at the office. He's the only guys that's not a jerk in that office. "What's up?" He said.
"Not again, Corbyn. Don't tell me you're with another chick?" You said. He only laugh then stop and gives a serious look. "If you think that I broke up with my girlfriend, you're wrong this time. Actually, we're going to get married!" He said. "Congratulations!" You said and had a hand shake. "Is that really necessary?"
"Yes. I need to do this hand shake because you're finally going to get married and most importantly, you're finally loyal to one girl. But, I bet, you still going to that strip club, huh?"
"Thank you and there you are again giving out a wrong answer to me. I stopped going to the clubs since last month. So, no more going to any of the clubs including strip club that I used to go. I'm so ready to have cute babies!" He said. "Good. She changed you into a better person because being loyal isn't a part of your personality..."
Both of you had a good time while enjoying the tea and bagel on Sunday evening. "I've to go." You left the cafe and going back home to your apartment.
Once you changed your clothes to your white pajamas, you've got a video call from Daniel.
"What's my baby doing there?" He asked. You can't help but smile at those words. "Nothing. Just relaxing and looking forward to meet you again." You said. His face lighten up and he blow a kiss to you. "Sure you're busy thinking bout me. I can read your mind."
"Oh, that's impressive. Okay let me think about something..."You said, jokingly."Urm, that's hard to figure out cause all I can say that you're only thinking about me." He winked at you and you find yourself laughing. He could hardly wink.
"Nope. I think about food." He made that expression of 'I knew it' after you said that. "I need to go now. My dad is calling me! Bye!" He end the video call. You slowly drifting off to sleep after a long day.

"Morning!" Corbyn greeted. "Morning, Corb!" You greeted back at him.
"So,how are you doing?" He smirked at you. "Good. But why?"
"You look like you're exhausted. Bet you don't get enough sleep last night..." You tilted your head a little. "You're right. I'm just, there are a lot of things going on in my mind. That's why I can't sleep well last night."
"Oh,you probably thinking bout that Daniel guy... Am I right?" Before you start to say something, Selene approaches both of you. She's Daniel's ex-girlfriend. "Seriously? You're still stuck with him? I'm so surprised."
"Selene, if you don't have anything nice to say, just shut the fuck up." You said and leave her. You walk to your boss's room to send your work. You knock the door and "May I come in?" You saw your boss still talking through the phone.
He gives a signal for you to come in. You sit on the chair across him. "So, have you done the one that I ask you to work on?" You nodded and hand it in. He flips through the pages. He looks so focus. "Good. You've done a good job. May I ask you something?"
You've been working with the company for almost 2 years. He's a friend of yours. Well, Jack was your colleague. "Sure. Go ahead." You said. "Are you free tonight? Well, I want to congratulate Corbyn on his wedding." You feel a little bit weird. You know that Corbyn usually ask it first. "I'm free. Sure, I'd loved to!"
"Okay. I'll see you tonight." You smiled and close the door once you're out of the room.
You're now back to your place. You start to do the work and ignore the surroundings. Well, people at your place love gossiping especially if they heard something juicy. Everyone will join in and listen to you.
But you. You don't care about it because you know there's no use to talk bout others. You're there to do your work, not wasting your time gossiping. That's just not you.
"Okay, guys, let's have fun tonight!" Corbyn said before he leaves. You put your laptop back into the bag. You check on your phone but there's no missed call or texts. "Faye! You're still here?" Jack said.
"I just want to get everything done." You said and put your handbag by slinging it on your shoulder. "Oh okay. Stay safe." He said. You switch off the lights before you leave the office.
You get dressed up. Corbyn gives you a ride to the place. He's bringing his girlfriend. "Hey, Christina!" You said once you get into the car. You sit at the back seat. "Girl, it's been a long time I haven't see you! I heard that you're a workaholic woman now... "
"Corbyn... But congratulations to both of you! I can't wait for both of you to get married." You said. "I'm more excited but how about you and Daniel?" Daniel. That name. "We're doing just fine. But, yeah, we just don't want to rush."
"I hope you guys get married very soon!" She said, excitedly. Christina is actually Daniel's friend and she's the one who pair you up with Daniel. She had been a successful matchmaker.
