It was my best friends birthday. She was turning 16. I was going to be one of her Chambelanes since she's having a sweet sixteen.
A chambelan is basically on of those guy dancers that are always by her side. I'm her main chambelan since I'm her best friend. Usually the chambelanes are her family members or brothers but she wanted her 5 best friends to be her chambelanes.
There's me, Jonah, Corbyn, Jack, and Zach. We're all friends. She's that one girl that's very weird, nice but at the same time though.
Her name is Nicole. She's tiny. She's smart when she wants to be. She makes mistakes like this one time she cut her hair and regretted it because she said she looked like a boy but I loved it.
She's not perfect though, no one is. She has anxiety attacks. She either has them because she has issues or she has them because she sees a spider outside and jumps on Corbyn's back and makes him run away.
It's funny at some points but it's serious too.
But yeah it's her big day.
Nicole's POV
I woke up and got ready, it was 5:25 am. I know that today is going to be stressful but fun.
As soon as I got out of bed, I went to see if everyone was awake. I slowly climbed out of my top bunk bed and climbed down.
"Michelle." I said trying to wake up my sister who was sleeping on the bottom bunk. "What?" She said sleepy, it was a bit raspy due to her sleeping. "Today's the day you get to wear your dress so come on wake up."
When I said that my sister immediately climbed out of bed and rushed to the bathroom. She loved her dress and had been dying to wear it.
I went to go see if my parents were awake and they were.
"Morning." My mom said as she walked out of my parents bedroom "Is dad awake?" I asked "Yeah, he's just waking up a bit."
*skips time*
It was now time to go meet up with the boys and they were downstairs. I got everything ready.

This was my dress and my shoes. The boys had pink ties and suspenders. Daniel has to have his tux white since he was my main chambelan.
I walked out of my mom's room and saw the boys sitting down but as soon and I walked into the room their eyes widen in amazement.
"Wow Nicole you look beautiful."Jonah complimented. "Thanks, I tried." I said giving him a hug. I gave them all hugs and they all gave me a compliment.
Once I hugged Daniel her gave me a tight hug and kissed my cheek "You look gorgeous."
I smiled lightly and everything was silent. "Um, ok let's get to the party bus." My mom said breaking the silence.
*skip church*
We arrived at the reception and everything was good so far. We finished the extra details and people started arriving.
Daniel's POV
So far it was perfect and it was almost time for the dances. All of the boys weren't perfect at dancing but we tried.
Me and the guys were sitting at our table as Nicole was greeting guests.
"Dude are you going to ask Nicole out yet or nah?" Jonah asked me "Not today, it's her day today." I said "Dude, I would hurry and ask because there's Juan who likes her remember?" Jack said as he pointed at Nicole and Juan hugging.
He's always liked her but she's rejected him. Which was a good thing to me at least.
"Just shoot your shot." Zach said "What if I miss?" I asked him.
The boys looked at each other and stood up from the table.
"Guys where are you going?" I asked them. I got up and walked with them. We stood in the middle of the stage and the boys put me in the middle "What are you guys doing?" I asked once again.
"Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, I hope your having a good evening." Corbyn said giving the mic to Zach.
"Hello I'm Zach."
"I'm Jack."
"I'm Corbyn."
"I'm Daniel."
"And I'm Jonah."
"And we are Nicole's best friends." the boys said without me. I looked at Nicole and she was just smiling. "So today, we have a question for Nicole." Corbyn said.
"Um guys come on." I said.
"Daniel ask." Zach said as he was pushing me lightly to walk more upfront. "Nicole, I was wondering if you would like to go out with me?"
As soon as I said that the room filled with "awes" and clapping.
"Daniel." Nicole said.
Here it comes.
"Of course." she said smiling.
"Are you serious?" I asked smiling "I'm being deadass." she said walking towards me. I immediately got off the stage and ran to her. I picked her up and spined her.
I leaned in for a kiss but she interrupted me "Aye don't get too excited remember I'm a prude."
prude: One who is reluctant in engaging in any sexual activities.
I kissed her anyways.
The night went on and it was fun. We were bumping bust down thotiana and drank some apple Cider that wasn't apple juice but I was happy.
"Daniel, thank you for everything." Nicole told me.
