~~~Life is a precious thing
It could end in a blink of an eye
As I sit in school
It's sad I pray I'll get a goodbyePeople are dying
Their lips shout no
Teens are crying
All they want is homeFists in the air
They beg for a change
They each say their goodbyes
Before a new shooter's in rangeEyes filled with tears
They blame us all
Their bodies filled with bullets
As each of them fallWhile all of them were young
To the ground they go
Faces filled with fear
They fall one after another, like dominosGive us education
we never asked for death
Your inaction condemns us
Our cold bodies piled without breath.I hope you'll see it never had to
When you ask how it occurred
These tragedies are engraved in everything
But to you, all of it is blurred.~~~~~
Be safe.
Saddened and frightened, but not giving up, K here, signing off.
