Her hair flowed within the wind, only more like within a river.
A smile moved mountains, each a little bigger.
Her skin was kissed like the sunset does the ground, but instead of the normal glimmer in her eye,
I found only my glassy reflection dripping like raindrops from her eyes,
And a sob that shuddered through her body, and pierced through mine.
Her heart looked to be in pieces that completely shattered mine.
She could not move a single pebble,
And her hair was upset by a breeze turned tornado, a gentle current turned rapid.
All I wished of her was that beautiful ruby smile
Nothing broke me more than seeing it flow out of her arms, stretching mile upon mile.
And when her warm sunset skin turned cold as an arctic blizzard, pale like the winter snow,
I held her in my arms, and told her I'd never let her go.
