I could only pretend I couldn't feel the pain, but it washed over me like a wave. It stung me, hard. Harder and harder every second. It made me shiver, sparked my spine, and I could almost faint.
All I could feel was pain, making my body ache, and I could feel my knees begin to collapse.
I heard words, someone was talking, but I didn't hear. Everything was blurry, the pain was everywhere.
