IV. Nathan

The next morning....

Jisoo and her mom were eating their breakfast.

"So, would you mind telling me what happened yesterday?" Her mom started interrogating her.

"Nothing much. I just came to apologize and that bastard wanted me to be his servant so I agreed so that he couldn't harm you." Jisoo replied

"Really?" Her mom got surprised.

Jisoo then held her mother's hand.

"Eomma.... I have something to tell you."

"Why? Is that all about this?"

"Yeah... it's just... that..the CEO...i-is Nam Joon."

"What?" Jisoo's mother was able to drop her spoon

"I know it's quite shocking. But Nam Joon is actually the heir of the company, I myself got so shocked too."

"Jisoo yah... I think it's best that you pretend you didn't know him."

"I know. That's what I did when we met each other at the party before and even up till now."

"But, when will you be able to tell him the truth though? It's been 5 years that you're suffering dear. You've been all alone in providing and taking care of Nathan's needs."

"I don't have to tell him anymore. He have his own affairs. I can raise Nathan all by myself."

"Granny? Jisoo? Who are you talking about?" A kid's voice suddenly emerged from the living room.

The kid entered and he smiled politely at them.

"Come here" Jisoo pulled him with his cute arms and let him sit on her lap.

"Jisoo? Who were you talking about with Granny?" Nathan couldn't help but ask.

"Look Nathan, it's just business related okay? There are some bad guys out there, so be careful." Jisoo replied

Nathan nodded and Jisoo smiled at him.

She then kissed his forehead and pinched his cheeks.

Jisoo's mother just looked at them smiling whilst busily sipping her tea.

"Jisoo... mind if we could bond today an-..." Nathan got interrupted when Jisoo's phone rang.

Jisoo answered her phone. "Hello?"

"Jisoo, please come here.. I need your help." The voice spoke on the ther line

"Wait...are you drunk?" Jisoo eventually got hunged up.

"What is it?" Nathan asked again.

"Hey Nathan, mind if we could postpone the bond for today? I'm really sorry but I need to meet up with someone who is in danger. okay?"

"It's okay." Nathan pouted.

Jisoo then hugged his cute little figure.

FLASHFORWARD>>>

Jisoo rushed inside the bar, and her eyes widened at the sight of her friend, Rosé busy grinding with the guys at the dance floor.

"Yah Rosé...." She pulled her friend away from the guys and looked unto her eyes straightly.

"Oooh.. Jisoo, so you're here." Rosé smiled with a drunk state.

"Of course I'm here. You literally need my help right now."

"I know."

"If this is about Jimin again? I don't know."

"Correct. It's about him!"

Jisoo eventually pulled her with her and sat down together.

"Rosie... You deserve to be happy. You don't need to stay by Jimin's side forever. You could get a divorce. That guy, all he does is cheat with a lot of girls, and you... no offense..you're just like his decoration."

Rosé smiled bitterly and tears started falling down her cheek.

"I actually knew it from the very beginning. He was so nice to me, he treated me with utmost care and love, spoiled me with the things I love. I don't know but the only thing that keeps me sticking beside him are his riches... But you know what? I finally surrender, he's just like other guys. He just..played on me. You're right.. I'll find the right time to divorce with him."

"That's good Rosé."

Jisoo walked home all alone after sending Rosé home first.

She went to ring the doorbell as soon as she arrived outside her house.

Meanwhile...

Nam Joon is driving his classic car.

"Oh." He stopped the moment he saw Jisoo.

What is she doing there? Is that her house?....He thought.

The moment the gates opened, he saw Jisoo hugging her mom and a little kid.

Who is that kid?

He slightly opened his car glass window.

He then decided to listen to their conversation.

"I promise we will bond tomorrow Nathan." He heard Jisoo saying.

Nathan?... is that the name of her kid?... Is she perhaps a single mom?... Nam Joon thought.
