XIII. The Recording

The next morning.....

"Jisoo, I heard that Nathan had been injected for vaccine in school." Rosé told Jisoo as she entered their house.

"What are you talking about Pasta?" Jisoo looked at Rosé with a puzzled face as they sat across each other on the living room.

"Their teacher told me."

"So only Nathan?"

"Yes."

"How come it's only him? That's so strange."

"I know right."

"Chae, I'll go ask their teacher about this later."

"I think that's a good idea."

Meanwhile at Nam Company....

"Did you finally do what I asked you?" Nam Joon asked Mr. Kang.

"Yes, and here is the results." Mr. Kang then placed a brown folder on top of his desk.

Nam Joon felt his heart beating faster than usual.

As soon as he flipped it open, he felt his whole world crash.

It didn't went to the way he expected it to be.

The DNA test did not match.

That afternoon....

Jisoo went to the school to ask the teacher regarding Nathan.

"Was it true that only my Nathan had been injected for vaccine?" She asked Ms. Hwang

"Yes it's true." Ms. Hwang replied

"How come only him?"

"Well a CEO, sent his secretary here to ask for it, they were using it for DNA test, sorry for lying."

Nam Joon again.....Jisoo thought.

"DNA test?"Jisoo's eyes widened

"However, Mrs. Kim together with Sooyoung had tampered on the DNA results. Mrs. Kim said she doesn't want to have a grandchild from you and the CEO."

"How dare they. If ever they will hurt my family, I will have to face them by myself."

"I believe in your spirit Ms. Jisoo."

Back at the company again....

"WHAT?!" Nam Joon started whining
as he threw some of his things from his desk.

"Sooyoung did it together with your mom." Mr. Kang reported to him.

"When will mom and that woman ever stop!"

Just then, they heard a knock on the door.

"I'll go get it." Mr. Kang eventually went to the door and opened it

It turned out to be Jeongyeon.

"Hello. Good morning CEO nim." Jeongyeon bowed down as soon as she saw Nam Joon who was in his desk.

"What brings you here?" Nam Joon asked her.

She then placed her phone on top of his desk and played the recording she took.

It was the recording of Jisoo's conversation with Suho.

".....It started in Italy when Nam Joon lost his sight, I was the one who took care of him. We became close and we started developing feelings for each other. However, one time I was threatened by Sooyoung and her family that I need to stay away from Nam Joon since she's his fiancé. "

Nam Joon clenched his fists as he heard the recording.

"Now, since I let you hear this, let's have a deal. I want Junhoe to be mine."

"Okay deal. Junhoe is all yours now okay? Now please give me a copy of that recording."

Jeongyeon smiled and nodded.

"So I guess we're now in a win-win situation now." She said

As soon as Jeongyeon left, there was another person who entered.

It was Nam Joon's close friend, Jackson.

"Man, I'm sorry that it didn't work out." Jackson said as he removed his cap.

"Jackson, you know that you're the only person I trust right?" Nam Joon spoke in his casual tone.

"Yes. Don't worry. If you think I tampered the result, then you're wrong. I really tried my best."

"I know. Which is why.. I want to give you another task to prove yourself this time."

"What?"

"I just wanted to give that Sooyoung a taste of her own medicine. Just... give me the wedding suit."

"Okay. Don't worry I'll prove it to you this time.Then, I should get going."

Meanwhile at the Kim's Main Mansion....

Both Sooyoung and Nam Joon's
mother were sipping tea.

Nam Joon's mom smiled

"I'm so proud of my son. He will finally going to marry you."

"I have never been more excited." Sooyoung smiled as well.

"Now go and make sure to wear your smile all the time my dear Sooyoung. I'm excited to call you as my daughter."
