Nathan Smith was the strongest soldier in the military. He went to war 5 years ago, when his son was still a baby. His husband, Matthew, had been taking care of their son Oliver while the war was happening. It was rough without Nate. On July 11th, Oliver's birthday, the war ended. He said to his captain to call Matt and to announce he was killed, so he could surprise Matt and Oliver. When Matt heard the words, "Sir, I'm afraid your husband was killed in action," he could've sworn his heart stopped. And then, a box appeared at the house. It was a gift.. For Oliver and Matt. Matt raised an eyebrow but took it into the house. He put it down into the livingroom and called Oliver to open it. The boy opened the box curiously and quickly. Neither of them were expecting in, but Nathan was the present. He was then engulfed into a large, welcoming hug by both his son and his five year old son. I'm Nate.
