Daryl and Glenn went to get the rest of the group while I stayed behind. I had three guns pointed at me the whole time. While Daryl and Glenn were gone I found out the old man's name is Hershel and his daughters are Patricia, Maggie and Beth. Jimmy, the kid with the sandy blond hair, is Beth's boyfriend, and Otis is Patricia's husband.
"Oh my, I just realized we don't know your name!" Exclaimed Beth. My first instinct was to ignore her but then I remembered they have three guns pointed at my head, giving them the cold shoulder probably isn't the best idea.
"Rain" I said simply.
"Rain, like from the sky?" She asked, I nodded my head.
"That's a beautiful name" she smiled, I decided I like her.
"Beth, stop talking" scolded Maggie, Beth gave me a tiny wink and walked away.
About an hour later the group finally arrived. I breathed a sigh of relief but quickly tensed up as Otis jammed his gun into the side of my head.
"Try anything and she's dead" he warned.
"Don't worry, we won't" said Rick.
"You," said Hershel while pointing at Carol, "are you the mother of the missing girl?" Carol nodded her head.
"Come with me" he said as he lead her inside the house. We waited there in silence for what seemed like hours and when they finally came out of the house Carol had a tiny smile on her face.
"You are welcome to stay with us until Sophia is found" announced Hershel. We all cheered and thanked him.
He let us set up tents in front of the house, we only had a limited number tents so we had to share.
"Ray, me and you are roomies!" hooted Daryl as he gave me a noogie.
"Ugh, get off" I laughed as I pushed him away. He chuckled and left me to unload my stuff.
It was turning dark so we decided to start a campfire. We all sat around it and exchanged happy stories from before the incident. Hershel and his family came out to bring us some venison and we convinced them to sit with us for a while.
We stayed up for hours eating and being happy. I could get used to this
