silent treatment

"I said sorry Harry" I repeated as he sat there browsing through his phone still giving me the damn silent treatment.

I sighed and walked off giving him time away from me and giving me time to clean the house, mow the lawn, take out the trash, clean the pool, and other chores.

I went to check on him before I headed into the half bath to wash my hands so I could cook him some dinner.

I heard a bunch of yelling and cheering so I figured he was watching football. But when I walked out I saw him watching our wedding video.

Smiling I head into the kitchen careful not to make to much noise to interrupt his movie as I began cooking his favorite meal that I make.

I had the meat cooking, and the seasoning and sauce ready to go as I opened the Doritos and crushed them. before pouring them in a bowl and covering them with a lid.

I grabbed the shredded cheese, the shredded lettuce, and set it all out before I drained the grease out and turned off the stove before making Harry a plate and grabbed him a beer before I walked into the living room and watched as we having our second dance as husband and wife.

After I placed the food in front of him and his beer I headed back into the kitchen and covered up the food before I walked out and headed to the garage.

I grabbed the containers and rags along with the hanging light before I made my way up and under his car.

After hanging and flipping the light on I twisted the cap and released the old fluid out of the axel and waited.

"Where are you?"

I looked out from under the car and seen Harry's shoes

"under here Harry."

Turning my attention back to the axle fluid I watched as the last bit drained before I opened and clipped the container of the new bottle and put it right in its place and let it do its work.

I saw movement so I looked under my arm at Harry who was laying on his side.

"What are you doing?"

"Changing you axel grease"

"why?"

"Well you were giving me the silent treatment and watching our wedding video so I figured I could save you the time and trouble of having someone else do this for you, when I had the proper fluid, and knew how to do it. "

Looking up I kept my eye on the bottle as it drained into the axel.

" How do you know how to do this without the computer?"

"I studied it and learned it."

Once the bottle was empty I removed it and closed the drain before cleaned around it just in case some happen to spill before making sure it was closed tightly.

After I done all I needed to under his car and removed the hanging light, got all the towels and containers outta the way along with the trash before, I rolled from under the car.

"your dirty"

"nothing a great shower wouldn't take care off."

I tossed the trash and the old fluid properly before putting up the light and headed off inside and upstairs.

"you can't take a shower in our bathroom"

"you're dirty"

" the reason I will go and shower in our bathroom"

"I mean it, you can't shower in our bathroom."

I sighed and headed away to a guest bathroom before turning on the shower and locking the door before stripping down and stepping in.
