I looked at him in shock.
"Look I think it is nice that you replied to my tweet about a date with me, but know that what had happened between the two of us, is simple," I said
"I didn't ask you for attention. I didn't ask you for any notice or anything." I stated
" I know you asked me that to get my attention and you got it, we went on a date and it was perfect" he replied
"then why are you treating me and this date like its some charity that you deal with, or some arrangement that you management conjored up?"
He sighed and shook his head
"it's not like that"
"it seems like it is. and let me tell you I am not some type of charity case that is needing you to date me so I could ask for profit or something."
I shook my head
"Hell I never thought you would even see the tweet, I was just doing it to live a little and not be chicken, cause I never know what tomorrow may bring for my future, or if I will live to see it."
"I am sorry, I didn't want this to seem like I am only doing this outta charity or management."
It was my turn not to say anything
"I am not like that, I never have been like that"
"I know and that is what shocked me."
He nodded
"I saw your face expression"
I nodded my head glad he understands my point of view.
"I would like to make it up to you if you'll allow me to"
"no more of this " I gestured around us
he shook his head.
"No, none of this."
"Alright. we will try again"
He smiled and kissed my knuckles as he grabbed my hand and brought it up to his lips.
"tomorrow at seven, nothing formal or fancy"
"sound like my kind of date"
He smiled and kissed me again.
