Being a serviceman at top multinational company, I, Vineet Kumar, was a regular visitor to the Green Rock Cafe. I visited there for some time for myself. The owner of the cafe, Sachin Singh, was a good friend of mine. I go there with my friends and sometimes, when I get upset or happy , i visit the cafe.

I had been away from the city for three months, as I was away in London, for some office work. It was a weekend, and therefore I decided to pay a visit to the cafe to Sachin.

Green Rock Cafe

I entered inside the cafe, and found Sachin at the counter. I hugged him..

"Where were you Vineet? 3 mahine se dikhe hi nahi. " he asked.

I smiled at him.. "Haan Sachin , wo main Mumbai mein hi nahi tha. Office ke kaam se London gaya hua tha. Kal hi lauta hoon. " I told him.

He smiled.. " Okay. Maine socha, tum is dost ko bhul hi gaye ho. " he said.

"Arey nahi Sachin. Tumhe kaise bhul sakta hoon. Lekin ab regularly aaunga. " i said.

He smiled, and was about to say something, when a pretty girl, around in her early twenties, jumped over him. She twirled him around in happiness.

He smiled at her and he smiled

He smiled at her and he smiled... "I'll send your shake. "

She kissed his cheek in reply and occupied a corner table. I was watching her. I found her taking out a book. She sat on the chair when Sachin placed a glass of shake on her table. She smiled at him and got engaged in reading. I found myself staring at her. My trance was broken when my phone rang. It was my mother who called me home. Bidding bye to Sachin, i left the Cafe, but that pretty girl was still on my mind. I slept with her thoughts.

Next day, the day passed in a blur. In the evening, I again visited the cafe and took my seat. I had some work, so I connected the laptop, but my eyes were on the corner table. The girl didn't turned up today. I waited for two hours, but she didn't came up. I left the cafe half heartedly.

It had been a month almost, I was visiting the cafe. Sometimes, i would find her, and sometimes not. She was a beautiful soul, always smiling to people who looked at her. She was always silent, sitting at a place and reading. Sometimes she used to play guitar as well. I used to watch her from a distance. I didn't knew her name, but there was something that pushed me towards her.

One fine day, I had just reached the cafe and was talking to Sachin. Meanwhile, the same pretty girl entered the cafe. She went to Sachin, and took out something from her handbag and showed it to him. She seemed excited about something and was telling Sachin something, who smiled at her. I was shocked to see that she was talking in sign language, maybe she couldn't speak. I realised that it was the reason, she was a silent person.

Hugging Sachin, she went off to her place. Sachin caught me looking at her..

"Uska naam Ruhana hai. " he said.
