The days leading up to the big concert at Slane Castle were nerve wrecking. All three bands had practice everyday, so Gaia and the girls took Tegan while the practice went on.

Chris had gotten TJ Bell to fill in on the guitar's with Ryan in placement of Ricky, which was good because TJ and Ryan got along a lot better than Ricky and Ryan would have.

On the day of the concert, everyone slept in until about ten am. They needed as much sleep as they could get, because a night at Slane was never done before midnight.

Ryan and Charlie took it in turns in watching Tegan whilst the other showered and they met their friends in both Motionless In White and Ghost for breakfast at around eleven am.

Everyone was buzzing with excitement.

"Guy's I can't believe we're actually playing Slane Castle tonight.." Jayden giggled. Aspen laughed. "Neither can I." He said. Charlie shook her head. Her stomach was doing somersaults with nerves. "Fuck, lads.. this is crazy." She said.

"Mama!" Tegan giggled. Charlie looked over at Tegan, who was sat in Vinny's lap. "Yes, darling?" She asked. Tegan covered her face with her hands and then removed them abruptly and shouted; "Boo!!"

Charlie gasped, and acted surprised. "Oh my God! You scared me!!" She giggled, causing Tegan to burst out laughing, and everyone else begin giggling. Even the nameless ghouls of Ghost and Tobias.

Around half three that afternoon, the three bands headed to Slane Castle. Hell Raisers had their meet n greet and the other two bands and the girls were going to be meeting Lord Henry, the owner of Slane Castle and the land around it.

The gig was starting at six pm.

Motionless In White were playing first until seven thirty.
Ghost were playing second until nine.
Hell Raisers were then taking over the night for as long as they could.

Around five pm, the Motionless In White boys had to get ready to go onstage. They done their paint and/or makeup with the help of some of the girls, tuned their guitars and bass and waited for the last of the drums to be set up. A few minutes later, they took their places onstage, and opened with Black Damask (The Fog).

Charlie loved watching Ryan, Chris, Devin, TJ and Vinny have fun onstage together. The crowd was already really hyped up and they were absolutely loving Motionless In White, screaming the lyrics back at them, opening mosh pits throughout the massive crowd and just having fun all together.

The crowd went ballistic for Motionless In White, and even more ballistic for Ghost.. especially when they played hits like Year Zero and Square Hammer. The crowd screamed the lyrics back at them too.

Year Zero:

Square Hammer:

When it was almost time for Hell Raisers to go onstage, Charlie was absolutely losing her mind. Ryan pulled her aside from everyone before they were given the go ahead go go onstage.

"Breathe, okay? I promise you, it's actually not as bad as it looks.. it's fun, and you're going to have a blast. We'll all be back here cheering you on." He said, before giving her a quick kiss and a hug and letting her go so her, Aspen and Jayden could go onstage.

The first song was unbelievably nerve wrecking, but the three friends quickly got used to it. Ryan was right..  it wasn't actually that bad.

A few songs in, and the stage was starting to feel like home.

"Alright, Slane.. you guy's have been fucking incredible for us tonight.. so.. how about we bring out a few friends tonight, eh? Come on out boys." Charlie said, half way through the set. The Motionless In White boys walked out onstage, holding their assigned instruments.

The crowd went absolutely insane. .

Charlie couldn't help but laugh out of pure happiness. "Glad to know that you guys like them as much as we do.. alright, who wants to hear something cool??" She asked. The crowd screamed a clutter of "yeah" and "yes".

Charlie smirked and looked around at her friends. Both her and Ryan quickly strummed the first E minor chord of the masterpiece that is Master Of Puppets, by Metallica together, and continued to play the song together. Charlie being the awkward one and using only downstrokes like James Hetfield does, but making it work.

"End of passion play, crumbling away. I'm your source of self destruction. Veins that pump with fear, sucking darkness clear. Leading on your deaths construction. Taste me you will see, more is all you need. Dedicated to how I'm killing you. Come crawling faster, obey your master.." Charlie sang, letting the crowd sing some of the chorus.

Chris then began singing. "Master of puppets, I'm pulling your strings.. twisting your mind, smashing your dreams. Blinded by me, you can't see a  thing. Just call my name cause I'll hear you scream. Master, master. Just call my name cause I'll hear you scream. Master, master."

When it came go it, Ryan and Charlie done the dual guitar solo together, just before the James Hetfield solo, about half way through the song. After the dual guitar, Ryan play the Hetfield solo.

Charlie looked out into the crowd as she played in the background, behind Ryan's solo. She spotted someone in the front row, that caught her eye in the worst way possible.

Nah, it can't be.. stop worrying.

"Master, Master.. wheres those dreams that I've been after?" Charlie sang.
"Master, Master.. you promised only lies." Chris replied in song, and walked over to her.
"Laughter, Laughter.. all I hear or see is laughter."

Charlie sang. When her part was over and as Chris sang, she nudged him and nodded towards the member of crowd. His jaw dropped as he sang. "Laughter, Laught.. laughing at my cries.. fix me!!" He screamed into the microphone.

Charlie played the Kirk Hammett solo, using every piece of power she had left in her. She knew Kirk Hammett would probably never see her play his solo, but it felt good to have the power to be able to play it.

When she was done the solo, the crowd member had vanished, and there was a distant scream from backstage.

She looked backstage, and seen Jaime being hel back by someone, and someone else with a knife in their hand.. it was Ricky.

She felt her blood boil and she dropped her guitar and ran backstage. She began kicking and punching the guy who had Jaime, and kicked him in the balls, so as to be sure that he would let her go. Jaime had kicked the babychair that Tegan was sitting in off to the side where she couldn't be seen or hurt. Managers were calling for security and security back up, but they couldn't force their way through the crowds.

"What the fuck are you doing here??!!!" Charlie screamed. "What am I doing here?! What are the girls doing here?!" Ricky yelled back at her. "THEY CAME BECAUSE THEY NEEDED TO BE PROTECTED FROM YOU NO MATTER WHAT THE CONSEQUENCE IS!!!!!" Charlie screamed.

Kylie, Gaia, Jesse, Harley and Angelo took Tegan and fled up to the castle, to Lord Henry.

Ricky kicked the legs from under Charlie, causing her to end up on the floor. He then got down and swung the knife at her, cutting down her shoulder but Charlie knew better than to let that get to her, and grabbed the knife off of him and swung it back at him. It cut his cheek, just below his eye.

Ricky grabbed hold of Charlie's wrist, and turned the knife around in her hand before pushing down on her wrist so the knife was almost in her chest.

She pushed back and turned the knife around before jabbing it into his chest..

What the fuck just happened?
