Charlie woke up a few minutes later, and Ghost had gone to Jaime's hospital room. Charlie was pale, and she was in pain, but she insisted she was okay. She didn't know what to do. Was Jaime okay? Where was Tegan?? What was even happening anymore?

"A-Anything on J-Jaime?" She asked Ryan, as she sat up slowly. Ryan shook his head and rubbed his eyes. "I-I.. don't exactly know, babe. I really don't. Ghost has gone to her hotel room, and he said he'll text me as soon as anything does happen, but nothing has happened yet." He told her.

A nurse walked in and took Charlie's blood pressure and temperature.

"How are you feeling?" She asked. Charlie shrugged. "Kinda sore, but I'll be fine." She said. The nurse nodded. "Can I get you guy's anything?" She said.

Ryan shook his head. "No, thank you." He said.

As soon as the nurse left, Ghost burst through the door in hysterics.

"GUY'S SH-SHE-.." He couldn't even put a sentence together. Ryan and Charlie knew what he meant though. Charlie quickly got into the leggings and Irish Rugby jersey and converse that Ghost brought for her and ran out of the room, and down the hall with Ryan and Ghost.

She burst into Jaime's hospital room.

"Miss, you can't be in here." A nurse said and tried to get her to leave.

"DON'T TELL ME WHERE I CAN AND CAN'T BE, THAT'S MY FUCKING SISTER!" Charlie yelled and pushed past her, tears rolling down her cheeks as she sobbed.

Jaime lay there, her whole body pale, and her lips blue. There was a loud, eerie beep in the background from the heart monitor machine. One of the doctors looked up and gasped. "Miss Olson, what are you doing dressed and out of bed?!!! You're not being discharged until late tonight!!" He said.

Charlie glared at him through her tears. "Jaime is my fucking sister, don't you dare try guilt trip me with my discharge." She growled, and stumbled to the bed.

Ghost's P.O.V

I was sat in Jaime's room when she passed. She asked me to make sure Ryan, Tegan, Charlie and everyone else was okay just as her monitor went off and her heart stopped.

I screamed, but don't remember opening my mouth. I cried on instinct and repeatedly pressed the nurses button and ran down the hallway, grabbing the nearest doctor  and dragging him back to the hospital room.

I ran to Charlie's hospital room, and told her and Ryan and I don't think I've ever seen her get dressed and run as fast as she did. She took that many turns through the hospital and up the stairs, that Ryan and I lost track and couldn't find her.

We both ran towards her hospital, and she was in there, crying. Jaime looked horrible and we knew she was gone.

Charlie was holding her hand, sobbing and telling her to wake up and that it wasn't real.. but it unfortunately was.

Ryan turned to me. He was crying too.

"Text our groupchat, and tell everyone to meet at our house, as soon as they can, and that's important. Don't say anything else to them until we all get there." Ryan told me and I nodded. I walked out and sat in the waiting area outside and done has he told me.

End Of P.O.V

Ryan's P.O.V

I had to physically pull Charlie out of Jaime's hospital room.. and it was one of the most heartbreaking things that I've ever done. She kept telling Jaime to wake up and that she wasn't really gone.. and I wanted to believe that she was right.. but knew all too well that she was wrong.

I went over and wrapped my arms around her. "Come on, Charles.. I-I think it's t-time to go." I said. She shook her head and tried to move, but I kept my arms around her.

"R-Ryan.. I can't.. Tegan was meant to grow up and know her and have her as a role model because.." She didn't finish her sentence. I brought her out of the room, and we sat with Ghost, all three of us, still crying.

I called my mom. She was the only one I could call right now. I told her and Dad what happened and they came to the hospital as soon as they could, and signed Charlie out.

Ghost gave Dad the keys to his car, and Dad drove Ghost's car back to our place while the mom drove the three of us back. Charlie sat in the front with mom. I guess my mom was the only mother figure she had now, apart from her grandma.

When we got back home, everyone else was there. Chris, being the absolute legend of a brother that he is, had Tegan fed, burped, bathed, and in pyjamas, in bed and asleep when we got back.

Kuza had picked Charlie up a new phone on his way here.. and wouldn't take the money back for it no matter what we tried.

"Alright, can you please tell us what happened?" Gaia asked.

Ghost was crying into Kylie's shoulder.

Charlie was still crying too. I looked towards my mother, who was filled in by us and the doctors at the hospital before we left.

"Want me to say it?" She asked, and I nodded.

"Guy's.. I'm really sorry, but Jaime passed away due to her injuries from a car crash that happened earlier today."

Everyone began panicking. I watched as the colour drained from Ricky's face.

My parents left a few minutes later, to give us all time alone together.. and it felt like one big depression session.

End Of P.O.V

Ricky couldn't believe it when Mrs. Sitkowksi said that Jaime was dead. Hell, no one could believe it. But, he was over stimulated with shock. He couldn't move.

"Ch-.. Charles?" He mumbled from his seat. Charlie had her face buried in her a pillow, but she lifted her head to look at him. "Really?" He asked. Charlie took a deep breath, and nodded.

A few tears slid down his cheeks. He didn't feel pain. He was numb. He couldn't feel.

A girl he had brought through hell and back was gone and he didn't even get to say a proper goodbye, or fully restore her trust in him.

No one left until around ten thirty that night.. everyone was riddled with tiredness and headaches.

Charlie and Ryan got showers and headed straight to bed, to watch some movies for the night, in an attempt to get their mind off of the days events.

Neither of them slept.. and they weren't the only ones.
