I shut the door behind me. I threw myself onto the bed.
Halloween is in 2 days. I thought to myself. What am I going to be? Maybe I should ask Liv and we could discuss it...
I picked up my phone to text Liv.
Me: Hey sis, wake me up in 2 hours. Don't let anyone else wake me up. After my nap I wanna discuss Halloween costumes! Ily sisssssyyyy.
Liv: lol, sure thing. Ily2 lil sis.
I turned my phone on silent and took off my glasses. I got under the covers and buried the right side of my face in the pillow. I closed my eyes and soon I drifted off into a deep sleep.
--- 2 hours later ---
There was a knock on the door.
"Come in." I mumbled.
The door slowly creaked open.
"Wakey-Wakey lil butt." Liv said, closing to door behind her.
"What do you have?" I asked, rubbing my eyes and putting my glasses on.
"Apple cider." She said, handing me a mug.
"Mmmm." I took a sip.
"Can you believe it's only been a few months since we left that apartment?" Liv asked, taking a sip of her cider.
"It's so crazy. It seems like forever since we've been there." We both laughed a little bit.
"Ok, so, Halloween costumes...?"
"Yeah, I'm not sure what I wanna be." I set my cup down on the night stand.
"Oh my god!" Liv gasped.
"What?!?!" I asked anxiously.
"Kian has a cop button up. What if the guys were cops and we were prisoners?!"
"What about the other way around? Since there are more guys than girls."
"That makes sense. Let's do it."
We both laughed. I took another gulp of my cider, so did Liv. We both kinda sat there, staring at each other. I noticed she looked a lot more like me than I thought, the more I stared at her, the more identical we became.
"I just realized..." Liv said. "We look a lot alike. Our eye colors are exactly the same, I know our natural hair color is pretty close, our eye, nose and kinda face shape."
"I just realized that too. This is weird." I replied, looking at her facial details more. "I think I should dye my hair a similar color to my roots so it does look so weird. It already does, the blonde is messing up my purple, blue, green stripe thing."
"Wanna go get that done now?"
"Sure."
--- 2 hours later ---
We came back home, my hair was now a caramel blonde. JC went with us and now his curls are a dark blonde.
"Like my hair?" He asked.
"I love it." I replied, kissing his cheek and turning around to run up the stairs.
He grabbed my wrist and pushed my up against the wall. His soft, gentle lips smashed into mine.
"Knock it off you two!" Connor said, passing us as he walked up stairs, holding Cinder.
I felt JC's rough, warm hands go underneath my shirt and up towards my bra strap. I flicked the back of his neck and he moved them back down to my lower back.
"Seriously though." Ricky said flatly. "Take it somewhere else, I'm trying to watch TV."
JC and I both laughed, pulling back from each others embrace.
